On September 21, at the Provincial Military Command, Military Region 7 held a ceremony to hand over necessities and many equipment and supplies worth nearly 2 billion VND to the Provincial Red Cross Society to help the people of the Ancestral Land quickly overcome difficulties caused by the impact of storm No. 3.
Representatives of Military Region 7 leaders handed over support gifts to the Provincial Red Cross Society.
After storm No. 3 passed, Phu Tho province suffered heavy damage estimated at over 1,000 billion VND. To date, some areas are still flooded, landslides and many families have not been able to return to their old homes. Floods have also caused more than 6,400 hectares of rice and crops to be unharvested, with nearly 80,000 families facing a long-term food shortage until around the 2025 winter-spring crop.
In order to share the difficulties with Phu Tho province, Military Region 7 launched and handed over 25 tons of rice; 495 boxes of instant noodles; 180 boxes of dry food; 500 life jackets... along with many necessities, equipment, supplies, and fast food essential in life with a total value of nearly 2 billion VND to the Provincial Red Cross Society.
This is the sentiment of the officers, soldiers, armed forces of Military Region 7, along with units and businesses located in the area to support the people of the Fatherland in difficult times.

All of the above goods and necessities will be delivered directly to people in areas severely damaged by storm No. 3 by the Provincial Red Cross in coordination with localities, levels and sectors. This will not only ensure food for people but also meet basic living needs, contributing to sharing and encouraging people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
