Implementing the plan and instructions of the General Department of Engineering on organizing the 2023 army-wide good car and good driver competition (expected to take place from August 1 to October 23, 2023) with the following contents: Good car competition, vehicle and motorbike technical area, technical day activities, technical innovation initiatives, awareness; good driving competition including theory and practice competitions... Military Region 1 has established an Organizing Committee, a Jury to organize competitions at the grassroots and Military Region levels; at the same time, selecting and establishing a team to participate in the army-wide competition.

Major General Do Van Tuan, Deputy Commander of Military Region 1, assigned the task of participating in the 2023 army-wide good car and good driver contest to the agencies and units directly participating.

To ensure that the Military Region's team participating in the all-army competition achieves good results, at the conference, Major General Do Van Tuan thoroughly grasped and assigned direct tasks to each agency, unit, and department directly involved in the competition, in which the Military Region's Technical Department is the host agency.

Leaders of Military Region 1 inspected the technical condition of some vehicles participating in the competition at the 601st Information Brigade.

The Deputy Commander of the Military Region emphasized: The contest is a good opportunity to assess the actual level, capacity of exploitation, use, quality of preservation, maintenance, repair, synchronization, and storage of motorbike equipment, as well as the regularity of motorbike technical work of the units. Require agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and deploy; focus on doing well all preparations, research, and properly implementing regulations, instructions, and plans to participate in the "2023 Army-wide Good Vehicle, Good Driver Contest" to achieve high results, ensuring the criteria of practicality, efficiency, and economy; encourage emulation movements, bringing the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical, and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" into depth and comprehensively.
