According to statistics from the Provincial Youth Union, the province currently has 20 Youth Union branches in the business sector. Youth Union chapters at all levels have focused on promoting activities to improve knowledge and digital skills for union members and young workers in many forms.

Young workers will easily share their passions and interests in work, making the most of advances in modern science and technology to improve labor productivity.

As a locality with many industrial parks and enterprises, with a large concentration of young workers, comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Secretary of the Yen Son District Youth Union, said: “The number of young workers in industrial parks and enterprises in the area accounts for more than 40% of the total number of workers. We have organized propaganda sessions to guide digital knowledge for union members, young people in general and young workers in particular in a synchronous manner. At the same time, we effectively exploit social networks to propagate and disseminate the Party and State's digital transformation policies and guidelines to young workers.”

Synchronize solutions

In recent times, in order to effectively implement digital transformation, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed all levels of the provincial Youth Union to focus on implementing many specific and practical solutions to foster and improve digital knowledge and skills for young workers, suitable to the characteristics of each locality and youth group.

Every year, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee issues plans and dispatches to implement activities in response to Workers' Month, with special attention paid to promoting digital transformation, organizing online exchanges, consultations, and training sessions for young workers to improve their skills and meet the requirements of the modern labor market. Thereby, equipping young workers with basic to advanced knowledge on using social networks safely and exploiting digital information effectively. Many training courses are implemented directly at the grassroots level such as: Digital Education for the People, AI Education for the People, etc. combined online via Zoom, Google Meet to increase flexibility and accessibility.

The Provincial Youth Union has launched online competitions and playgrounds such as: "Youth with digital transformation", "Searching for creative startup ideas for Tuyen Quang youth"... to encourage innovative thinking and improve creative skills in the digital environment for union members, youth in general and young workers in particular.

Comrade Nguyen Nhat Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: Through practical activities, the provincial Youth Union chapters have been helping young workers improve their ability to adapt to the digital environment, proactively learn, develop themselves, and effectively participate in the national digital transformation.

In addition, technology enterprises and specialized organizations need to cooperate closely with the Youth Union to provide technological solutions suitable to the specific work of young workers, thereby promoting the application of technology in production and improving labor productivity.

At the same time, it is necessary to create communities to learn and share experiences in using technology, where union members, young people, including young workers, can interact, exchange and learn from each other. Groups and clubs on technology or digital transformation can be established in industrial parks or production facilities. With these solutions, I believe that the digital transformation movement will develop more and more strongly, helping young workers improve their digital skills, contributing to promoting the comprehensive digital transformation process in the province.
