"In addition to choosing a school with good training quality, I also consider the geographical distance and my child's learning ability. If I set my expectations too high, it will make my child more stressed," Ms. Loan worried.

This year's exam has many new points, being the first 10th grade exam according to the 2018 general education program, so many parents are worried.

My wish is to prioritize a public high school near my house for convenience in picking him up and dropping him off. However, my family still respects my nephew's decision," said Mr. Van.

This year, 114 public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City plan to enroll more than 70,000 students in grade 10, more than 30,000 students in non-public schools and more than 10,000 students in vocational education and continuing education centers...

According to Ms. Tran Thi Hong Thuy, Principal of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, there are many posts on forums that cause confusion for students, especially after the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the enrollment quota for grade 10 on April 11.
