In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, amidst the hustle and bustle of life, many people from the countryside of Hoa Vang District (west of Da Nang City) when stopping at the Tet festival of Giap Thin 2024 felt more at ease because they were able to live and "breathe" the old Tet atmosphere. Memories of the old days also came flooding back...

The "Vietnamese New Year 2024" festival not only honors the traditional cultural beauty, looks back to the homeland but also promotes the image of Hoa Vang countryside, depicts the traditional cultural space of the nation, creates sightseeing and shopping spots. Coming to the festival, people and tourists can more or less feel the taste of the old Tet. Customs and anecdotes about the traditional Tet holiday are recreated through games such as singing Bai Choi, singing Lotto, and folk games on Tet holiday. Visitors also have the opportunity to watch traditional culinary artists show off their talents, watch "calligraphers" give letters; enjoy dishes with rich traditional flavors, watch the contest "Green Chung Cake - Tet of Love", "Searching for artistic talent"... along with traditional and contemporary art programs.
The atmosphere of "Tet coming spring coming" is clearly shown through the excitement and youthfulness of people participating in the festival.

This year's Vietnamese Tet Festival takes place with more fresh content and a larger scale to serve tourists such as: Tet market, Tet costume show, flower bicycle parade, display of food trays, folk competitions... The organizers set up booths for people and tourists to shop such as OCOP products, local specialties, handicrafts, textiles, fashion, ornamental plants... Going out with friends, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (residing in Phu Son Nam village, Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district) felt like she was reliving the old days. Ms. Lan said she was very moved by the cozy, rustic atmosphere, mixed with a bit of the folklore of the traditional Tet. "The program was enthusiastically participated by many people, because it truly recreated the old Tet space of Vietnamese people. This is something that both the elderly and the young always enjoy. Hopefully, the Hoa Vang district government will maintain and organize many activities like this in the following years so that people can visit and experience the old Tet in modern life," Ms. Lan confided.
On the days leading up to Lunar New Year, people flock to the Hoa Vang District Administrative Center to shop and experience the old Tet atmosphere.
