Vietcombank spreads love, brings a warm Tet to families in difficult circumstances

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Vietcombank Trade Union launched a campaign for staff to join hands to support the poor and received the response of 100% of staff and employees in the entire system voluntarily contributing at least 1 day's salary to spread love and bring a warm Tet to families in difficult circumstances across the country.

Implementing the national program on sustainable poverty reduction and responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", during the journey of more than 60 years of construction and growth, the collective leadership and staff of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) have implemented many meaningful social security programs, providing practical support for the poor to stabilize their lives and strive to rise up, promoting the responsibility of the enterprise to the community, spreading the humanistic values of Vietcombank.

"Becoming a traditional activity, in addition to maintaining effective business operations, Vietcombank always pays special attention, enthusiasm and practical contributions to social security work. Vietcombank brings Tet gifts to the poor next to a charity house under construction with funding support from Vietcombank.

Along with the program of joining hands to support the poor launched by Vietcombank Trade Union, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Vietcombank branches across the country will organize meaningful social security activities, taking care of Tet such as: visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; mobilizing businesses to join hands to give gifts to poor households and policy families to celebrate Tet; giving solidarity houses, gratitude houses, and charity houses to extremely disadvantaged households, supporting localities to eliminate poverty; giving gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, to patients being treated at hospitals; giving Spring newspapers to soldiers on duty at the border and islands...;

Up to now, many meaningful charity programs named “Humanitarian Tet”, “Volunteer Spring”, “Warming the Highlands”; “Lighting up Humanity”… with noble gestures continue to enrich the image of a Vietcombank that is close, sharing, and humane to the community.

Charitable activities for the community, especially for the poor and those in difficult circumstances, are always of interest to Vietcombank. In addition to large-scale programs coordinated by Vietcombank with localities and agencies, each Vietcombank employee is always aware of and contributes to meaningful programs, and spends time directly participating in charity programs, bringing love and heart to the poor and those in difficult circumstances with the desire to contribute and join hands to build an increasingly beautiful society.
