Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha took a minute to remember the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall Shopping Center, Moscow Province, Russian Federation.
Writing in the condolence book at the Russian Embassy in Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha wrote: "We were extremely shocked to receive information about the brutal terrorist attack that occurred at Crocus City Hall Shopping Center, Moscow Province, Russian Federation, on March 22, 2024, taking the lives of many innocent civilians.
On behalf of the Government and people of Vietnam and on my own behalf, I would like to sincerely send my deepest condolences to the Government and people of Russia and the families of the victims. Vietnam strongly condemns terrorist attacks in all their forms and believes that the perpetrators will be duly punished.
We hope that the families of the victims will soon overcome this pain and loss, that the injured will recover soon, and that the people and country of Russia will always be peaceful and develop."

Previously, on March 23, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a message of condolences to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin; National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue sent a message of condolences to Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Parliament Valentina Matvienko and Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Parliament Vyacheslav Volodin. On the same day, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son sent a message of condolences to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Also on the afternoon of March 25, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, came to sign the condolence book and express condolences to the country and people of Russia. The Deputy Minister wrote: "Receiving the news of the brutal and inhumane terrorist attack that occurred at the Crocus Shopping Center on March 22, 2024, which took the lives of many innocent Russian people and injured many others, I was extremely shocked and moved.
Vietnam strongly condemns acts of terrorism in all forms. On behalf of Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, the leaders and staff of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on my own behalf, I would like to send my deepest condolences and most sincere regards to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the staff of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Russian people.
I hope that our Russian friends will soon overcome this pain of loss, that Russia will soon stabilize and continue to develop. I wish the innocent victims eternal rest and hope their families can overcome this great pain."
Following the terrorist attack, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the terrorist attack in the "strongest terms" and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, the people and the government of Russia. Mr. Antonio Guterres wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The United Nations Security Council has condemned the terrorist attack as "heinous and cowardly". The United States, the European Union (EU) and many European countries also condemned the bloody attack in Moscow.
According to the latest data from Russian authorities, the terrorist attack on March 22 left 137 victims dead and 182 others injured; the death toll is likely to rise. Eleven suspects involved in the terrorist attack have been arrested, including four who directly committed the murder.
