Recently, the Government and the Prime Minister have closely directed all levels and sectors to resolve difficulties and problems, including amending, supplementing and perfecting relevant legal documents and cutting unnecessary procedures.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that ministries, sectors, Zarubezhneft, businesses and partners need to continue to apply the principles of comprehensive cooperation and special trust between the two countries in the process of implementing new investment and cooperation projects in Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime Minister hopes that Zarubezhneft will pay attention to investing in renewable energy projects such as offshore wind power, producing new fuels such as green hydrogen, green ammonia, etc. and taking advantage of the infrastructure and facilities of oil and gas rigs.

"Vietnam and the Russian Federation still have a lot of room for cooperation in the energy sector. Zarubezhneft and PVN need to prioritize investment, research, and master technology to produce new green fuels from renewable energy. This is the "key" to the world's green transformation," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Mr. Sergey Kudryashov reported to the Deputy Prime Minister on the operations of the joint ventures Vietsovpetro and Rusvietpetro, between Zarubezhneft and PVN as well as a number of other projects in the oil and gas and energy sectors in Vietnam, thereby making important contributions to the bilateral trade turnover between the two countries.
