There is still more than a month to go until Lunar New Year 2025, however, Hang Ma Street is already filled with the typical red color of Tet. According to the reporter, right after Christmas, the whole street was given a "new look". At this time, traders are busy preparing goods for Tet. Mr. Hoang Tuan, a merchant on Hang Ma Street, said that right after Christmas he had to stay up all night to clean up Christmas items and quickly arrange items to serve people's Tet decoration needs. Mr. Hoang Tuan, clean up the remaining Christmas items to make room for Tet decorations. At big stores, people flock to buy retail and wholesale Tet items. Large packages are packaged and transported to other business locations to serve consumers. Tet decoration items on Hang Ma street are quite diverse, prices are not much different from last year. The snake mascot, the symbol of 2025, is also on sale in all stores. Wishes, red riddles, and green Chung cakes are indispensable decorations for Tet and are also sold here. “I bought a new house this year so I was very excited to buy Tet decorations. Today, I went to Hang Ma street with my friends and saw Tet decorations, so I bought some too. The prices were reasonable and there were many beautiful designs, so I spent more than 1,500,000 VND but it still wasn’t enough,” said Ms. Le Thi Hien (Thanh Tri, Hanoi). Tet decorations come in all sizes, from small to large, for people to choose from. This is the last business season of the year, so most of the traders on Hang Ma Street prepare their goods very carefully in the hope of doing well and having enough supply to serve the people.
