Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh visited and wished a Happy New Year in our province

On January 22, comrade Nguyen Khac Dinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly visited and presented gifts to policy families, Labor Heroes, poor households, union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.

Also attending were leaders of the National Assembly Office, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. On the province's side, there were comrades: Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the province.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh also joined in the joy with policy families and poor households in the province at the "Zero-VND Tet Fair" organized by the Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society at the Provincial Cultural Center and joined in the joy with union members, workers and laborers in the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" organized by the Provincial Labor Federation at VietSun Investment Company Limited in Thanh Hai Industrial Park (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City).

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly quickly informed the people, union members and workers about the outstanding achievements in the country's socio-economic development in 2023 and a number of Tet care programs of the Party and State for the poor, policy families and workers, aiming at the highest goal of the people enjoying the fruits of the cause of innovation, national development, improving the quality of life, leaving no one behind. At the same time, he expressed his joy at the socio-economic development results of Ninh Thuan province in 2023 and the activities to care for and support the poor, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in the province in the past time.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province continue to pay attention to implementing social security work well; synchronously and effectively implement policies and guidelines on poverty reduction, especially the three national target programs for the period 2021-2025; pay attention to and support poor households to develop the economy, improve their lives, and enrich themselves legitimately; allocate land funds to develop institutions, social housing, housing for workers and low-income people. He requested that organizations, individuals, and the business community continue to accompany and join hands in implementing practical activities to care for and support families to celebrate a warm and happy Tet, bringing a loving Spring to every home and every person.

On this occasion, Comrade Nguyen Khac Dinh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited, encouraged and presented 15 gifts to families with meritorious services, 200 gifts to poor households and 200 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; each gift included 1 million VND in cash and candy and necessities worth 300,000 VND; wishing everyone a happy, warm and prosperous Tet and a peaceful and prosperous new year.

After listening to the local leaders' reports on the socio-economic situation and the work of taking care of the people during Tet, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly commended the outstanding results in economic development, social security care and new rural construction of the district. Entering 2024, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Hai district will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, self-reliance, constantly innovate and create to effectively implement the set goals, targets and tasks; mobilize all resources, attract investment in advantageous sectors, promote rapid and sustainable growth. In addition, pay attention to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, especially ethnic minorities in the area whose lives are increasingly developing.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh sent warm and joyful New Year wishes to the local people and presented 60 gifts to poor Raglai ethnic households in Cau Gay and Da Hang villages of Vinh Hai commune; each gift included 1 million VND in cash, candy, and necessities, encouraging people to continue to make more efforts in life in the new year.

Visiting officers and soldiers of Vinh Hai Border Guard Station, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly commended and congratulated the unit on its achievements in protecting sovereignty and security in the maritime border area under its management; at the same time, he requested the unit to continue to make efforts and achieve more outstanding achievements, to be a solid support for the people, especially local fishermen, to go offshore and stick to the sea, contributing to socio-economic development and maintaining national defense and security.
