Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung: "Rely on the people to build and rectify the Party"

(QNO) - This afternoon, January 10, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee held an online conference to review the Party building work in 2023 and deploy key tasks in 2024. Comrades Le Van Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Chin - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee chaired the conference.

The conference assessed that in 2023, the entire Party building organization sector of the province made efforts to advise on the successful completion of assigned tasks. In particular, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee advised on the completion of 18/18 key tasks.

The whole industry has focused on advising and directing the work of developing new party members. In 2023, the whole province admitted 2,041 party members, reaching 113.34% of the resolution (1,800 party members).

Regarding the training and fostering of cadres, according to Mr. Cao Thanh Hai - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, the unit has advised on the issuance of Plan No. 256 dated March 10, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on training leaders and managers abroad with the state budget for the period 2023 - 2025 and orientation to 2030.

Coordinated with the Regional Political Academy III to open a training course for leaders and managers under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee (target 3) with 118 comrades; 1 training course for cadres planning for the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2025 - 2030 with 53 comrades. Sent 154 comrades to study advanced political theory, 390 comrades to study intermediate political theory (including 30 students from Sekong province, Laos); trained more than 4,178 cadres from the province to the grassroots level in professional and technical skills.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party building organization sector of the province in 2023.

Comrade Le Van Dung said that the whole industry has overcome difficulties, advised on the organization to thoroughly grasp and concretize the resolutions and regulations of the Central Committee on Party building work in a strict, synchronous, thorough, scientific and correct manner with a very large amount of work.

Along with that, advising, guiding, urging, building and improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and the quality of party members according to the Party's regulations have achieved many results. The quality of Party committee and cell activities has been increasingly improved, ensuring leadership, fighting strength, education, and the "4 good" cell and party model has been actively implemented in many places.

Pointing out 4 shortcomings and limitations and requiring Party committees at all levels to seriously acknowledge and raise the issue properly for better Party building work, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung stated: 2024 is the year of acceleration to complete the targets of the entire term of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress. The difficulties facing the province's personnel work are visible, especially when the province must focus on implementing Conclusion Notice 581 dated November 30, 2023 of the Central Inspection Commission.

Accordingly, the Party building organization sector needs to focus more strongly and make stronger efforts in carrying out assigned tasks. All aim at the goal of improving the Party's leadership and governance capacity in a substantial manner, creating people's trust in the Party, and successfully completing the assigned Party building organization tasks.

“The three goals set for the Party building work of the province are to do a good job of promoting democracy; to ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; to rely on the people to do the work of Party building and rectification,” emphasized Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung.
