Further promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new situation

Attending the conference were comrades: Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lo Van Mung, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Lo Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2023, under the direct leadership of the provincial Party Committees in the Cluster, the emulation and reward work and the emulation movement "Exemplary War Veterans" of Emulation Cluster No. 1 have many innovations in both content and form in accordance with the political tasks of the Association and the tasks of each locality. Outstanding is the work of participating in building and protecting the Party, the government, protecting the people, maintaining political stability at the grassroots level; building new rural areas, educating the younger generation and building a clean and strong Association organization. In the emulation movement to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, in 2023, the Associations at all levels in the Cluster eliminated 254 dilapidated and temporary houses; creating jobs for more than 25,000 workers.

In addition, the associations at all levels in the Cluster also coordinated well with the Fatherland Front, all levels, sectors, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in the area to effectively implement the resolutions of the provincial Party Congresses and the resolutions of the 7th Congress of War Veterans at all levels.

With the efforts of the Association of War Veterans in the provinces, in 2023, the entire Cluster was awarded 20 Certificates of Merit by the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of War Veterans; the People's Committees of the provinces awarded 12 Certificates of Merit.

The Association of War Veterans in Emulation Cluster No. 1 signed an emulation covenant in 2024.

2024 is determined to have many major events of the country and provinces. Emulation Cluster No. 1 sets out 5 groups of tasks, solutions and 10 targets to strive for, such as: Striving to admit 85% or more of eligible subjects to the Association to ensure quality; over 90% of affiliated Association organizations, 80% of members and 95% or more of Association officials meeting the "Exemplary War Veteran" standard; having advanced models, typical examples and meaningful works and products; no members violating the law...

Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, praised and acknowledged the achievements of the Association of War Veterans in Emulation Cluster No. 1; at the same time, affirmed that those results have greatly contributed to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, the Association of War Veterans in the Cluster will further promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", continue to closely coordinate in promoting patriotic emulation movements; actively participate in building and protecting the Party, the government, and the socialist regime; fight against the wrong views of hostile and reactionary forces. At the conference, the Veterans Association in Emulation Cluster No. 1 signed an emulation covenant; at the same time, honored the Veterans Association of Son La province as the Cluster Leader unit in 2024.
