From Tan Trao, the flame of resistance spread throughout the mountains and forests of Viet Bac. For nearly 6 years, President Ho Chi Minh, along with the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, and the Government, worked at more than 20 different locations in Tuyen Quang. This was not only the place where historic decisions were made, but also the place where Uncle Ho was close to and encouraged the people, arousing the patriotism and fighting spirit of the entire nation.

During nearly 6 years in Tuyen Quang, Uncle Ho and the Party Central Committee led our people to implement the policy of all-people, comprehensive, and long-term resistance. Here, he chaired many important conferences and congresses, discussing key issues of the revolution such as Party building, consolidating the government, developing the armed forces, developing the economy, culture, society, and promoting foreign affairs. Famous works such as "Diligence, Thrift, Integrity, and Uprightness", "Mass Mobilization"... were also completed by him in this land, becoming a guideline for cadres, party members, and people.

We cannot forget the images of Uncle Ho in simple khaki clothes, discussing national affairs with his leaders under a simple hut. In Tuyen Quang, correct policies and guidelines for the resistance were outlined, from Party building, consolidating the government, developing the armed forces to promoting production, developing culture and society, and enhancing diplomatic activities.

During the 9 years of resistance war, Tuyen Quang and the provinces in the Viet Bac war zone successfully completed the task of building, fighting and protecting the absolute safety of the central headquarters and President Ho Chi Minh. In 2024, the province's GRDP growth rate reached 9.04%, the highest in a decade, ranking 4th out of 14 provinces in the Northern midlands and mountainous region and 12th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Not only that, all 20/20 major socio-economic targets were completed and exceeded the set plan. Development targets in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery, industry and construction, and services all increased, with the economic scale exceeding 50,000 billion VND, an increase of 13% compared to 2023.

The total budget revenue of the province reached over 4,366 billion VND, exceeding the set target. The total social investment capital reached over 15,600 billion VND, of which public investment capital reached over 5,800 billion VND. Along with that, attracting effective investment, and developing agriculture in a modern direction. Infrastructure was invested synchronously, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development. The fields of culture, education, and health have made much progress, especially the attention to investment in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, helping to improve material and spiritual life, preserve cultural identity, and sustainably reduce poverty.

Tuyen Quang is steadily on the path of development, continuing to promote revolutionary traditions to build a bright future.
