The year 2025 marks an important turning point in propaganda and mass mobilization work when the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department officially comes into operation after merging from two previous specialized departments. Focus on stabilizing the apparatus and organizing task implementation

After merging according to Project No. 17-DA/TU dated January 22, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department officially came into operation on February 3, 2025. Since its establishment, the Department has quickly completed its organizational structure, ensuring effective operation, while focusing on implementing assigned tasks. By March 1, 2025, the Department had 38 cadres, civil servants, employees and 5 specialized departments, assigned specific tasks in a streamlined and effective manner.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy gave a speech at the working session with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

In a short time, the Board advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and working relationships of the Board. At the same time, the Board's organizational structure was also improved with the establishment of the Board Office, specialized departments and the appointment of management staff. Thanks to that, the organization and operation of the new apparatus were implemented methodically, meeting the requirements of political tasks in the new period. The Board has also been proactive in propaganda work, orienting public opinion, creating consensus in the political system and people on the arrangement of the apparatus, streamlining the payroll in the spirit of Resolution 6 of the 12th Central Committee. Propaganda was carried out through press conferences, public opinion conferences, on mainstream media and social networks, contributing to the fight against distorted and untrue information.

One of the key tasks of the Committee in 2025 is to continue to carry out well the work of propaganda and political and ideological education, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the State. The Committee has advised on organizing an online conference to disseminate the 2025 Special Topic on studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh; at the same time, issued instructions on implementing this topic to Party committees and organizations at all levels in the province. In addition, the work of political theory education continues to be promoted with many training programs for cadres and party members. The Committee has also coordinated with relevant agencies to organize political training courses for reporters, propagandists, and cadres working in mass mobilization, contributing to improving the theoretical and professional qualifications of grassroots cadres. In addition, the Committee also focuses on the work of fighting and protecting the Party's ideological foundation, refuting distorted and incorrect arguments in cyberspace. The 5th Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation was launched and received active participation from many agencies and units in the province.

Urge the implementation of important projects of the Provincial Party Standing Committee

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission is monitoring and urging the implementation of important projects of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, especially Project No. 12. The Commission has advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to issue Official Dispatch No. 1264, approving the content of social supervision and criticism in 2025 for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the province, including 18 supervisions and 5 criticism contents. In addition, the Commission has coordinated with relevant agencies to carry out mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas, promoting twinning activities between provincial and district-level agencies and units with pure communes and mixed villages of ethnic minorities. During the Dau Lua Festival, Lunar New Year, and Ramuwan Festival, the Commission has advised on organizing delegations of provincial leaders to visit and congratulate Party committees, authorities, dignitaries, prestigious people and policy families.

The Committee also continues to implement Conclusion No. 988 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the policy of twinning with pure ethnic minority communes and mixed ethnic minority villages in the province. To date, 54 provincial agencies have twinning with 17 pure ethnic minority communes, and 151 district-level agencies have twinning with 69 mixed ethnic minority villages. In addition, the Committee is monitoring the expansion of tree planting projects according to Project No. 06 and Project No. 05 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The Committee has issued Official Dispatch No. 1969 on the implementation of tree planting projects in 2025, requesting units to report registration results before April 15, 2025 and implementation results before October 15, 2025.

In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission will continue to closely follow Plan No. 261-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on organizing propaganda activities and celebrating major holidays in 2025, especially the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). In addition, the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation continues to be strengthened. The Commission will coordinate with relevant agencies to combat and refute bad and toxic information on the internet and social networks. At the same time, it will focus on training cadres and organizing training courses to improve the capacity of the propaganda and mass mobilization team...
