For students, practicing handwriting is not only to perfect their skills but also to help them cultivate perseverance, discipline, and respect for knowledge. These are the fundamental factors for students to build their personality and conquer their dreams in the future. Based on that desire, Tien Phong Joint Stock Company cooperated with the Vietnamese Handwriting Club and a number of units to launch the 2nd Vietnamese Handwriting Contest with the theme "My Dream".

Participants in the Vietnamese Beautiful Handwriting Contest are primary school students nationwide.

With the above theme, the contest is an opportunity for students to express their thoughts, feelings and dreams through each stroke of the pen; at the same time, shape their self-worth, nurture their aspirations, record their pure dreams, and move towards a bright future.

The contestants are primary school students nationwide. Candidates can register for the contest in two ways: by registering directly as individuals or by registering for the contest through centers, clubs, primary schools, Departments of Education and Training or Departments of Education and Training.

Evaluation criteria include: accuracy, beauty, uniformity, and correct spelling of handwriting according to regulations on promulgating handwriting models in primary schools issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

According to the Organizing Committee, contestants participating in the contest are completely voluntary and do not have to pay any fees. Teachers at schools and calligraphy clubs do not instruct students to write in elaborate, creative, or fanciful ways for the contest because this violates the contest rules. In the previous contest season, contestants who wrote very elaborate and creative entries were disqualified, so contestants do not have to practice different handwriting styles.

The competition is expected to be divided into two rounds, in which the preliminary round will start from November 23, 2024 - March 25, 2025, students will take two written tests; the final round is expected to take place on April 19 - 20, 2025 in Hanoi. Outstanding students from the preliminary round will demonstrate their talents before a panel of judges, including teachers and experts in the fields of education and culture.

The Organizing Committee will award more than 1,000 valuable prizes to outstanding students, including First, Second, Third, Fourth and Encouragement prizes. In addition, special prizes will also be awarded to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements or special circumstances.
