Strive to achieve budget revenue of over 5,400 billion VND

In 2024, the total budget revenue in the province will reach VND 4,349.7 billion, reaching 127.3% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 112.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, an increase of 41.2% over the same period. Of which, domestic revenue will be VND 4,041.5 billion, reaching 120.5% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 106.4% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, an increase of 37% over the same period in 2023. This is the 34th consecutive year that the Tax sector has successfully completed the budget collection task assigned by the Government and the Ministry of Finance.

In 2025, the Tax sector sets a goal of focusing all resources on synchronously implementing solutions for tax collection and debt recovery, striving to complete the assigned State budget collection task: The Government assigned Tuyen Quang province to collect 3,786 billion VND, the Provincial People's Committee assigned 5,405 billion VND; at the same time, well implementing tax management targets according to functions.

Authorized by the President and the Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Giang presented the Third Class Labor Medal to Mr. Hoang Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Tax Department.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Giang emphasized that in the context of production and business activities of people and enterprises in the province being affected, the National Assembly and the Government have issued many policies on tax, fee and charge exemption, extension and reduction, but with the spirit of solidarity, consensus, joint efforts and efforts to overcome difficulties, the Tax sector has synchronously and effectively implemented tasks and solutions to collect the budget in 2024.

2025 is the year entering a new era, the era of national growth. To successfully carry out the tasks of 2025, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Tax sector closely follow the political tasks of the sector and the province, the main targets and the 2025 budget plan to organize the implementation of assigned functions and tasks.

The Provincial Tax Department needs to focus resources, resolutely and synchronously implement solutions for revenue management, preventing budget losses, and recovering tax debts. Continue to maintain and strengthen the activities of the Steering Committee for preventing revenue losses and recovering tax arrears. Implement well the plan for collecting and handling arrears according to the direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for preventing budget losses.

Continue to innovate forms of propaganda to support taxpayers, strongly apply digital technology to tax management, expand the deployment of electronic invoices generated from cash registers to improve management efficiency and prevent tax losses in the retail sector. Promote administrative reform, focus on simplifying tax procedures, creating convenience for taxpayers and nurturing long-term revenue sources. Focus on implementing inspection and examination work according to the approved plan.

10 individuals were awarded the title of Emulation Fighter of the Finance sector for the period 2019 - 2021 and 2020 - 2022; 15 collectives and individuals were awarded the title of excellent labor collective by the Ministry of Finance in 2022; 35 collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the General Department of Taxation in 2022.
At the conference, the Provincial Tax Department launched an emulation movement to excellently complete tasks in 2025 throughout the industry and commended and rewarded collectives and individuals who excellently completed tasks in 2024.
