With the orientation of attracting investment, promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, creating momentum for economic development in the new period, one of the important projects that was started on the occasion of celebrating the city's major holidays is the Da Nang Data Center project.

Located in Da Nang High-Tech Park, Da Nang Data Center has a total investment of VND 800 billion in phase 1 and an expected VND 1,200 billion in phase 2. The center is designed according to international standards TIA-942C Rated-3 and Uptime Tier-3, ensuring stability, safety and high operating efficiency; especially suitable for AI server systems with high computing density. This is considered the largest data center in Da Nang to date.

Once operational, the Da Nang Data Center will serve as a key digital infrastructure platform, effectively serving businesses operating in the fields of e-commerce, fintech, cloud computing, OTT, artificial intelligence and many other industries that are being deeply affected by the wave of digital transformation.

Along with that, FPT Corporation has organized the opening of the R&D Center for high technology and semiconductor chips at Da Nang Software Park No. 2. This is an important core in the city's technology ecosystem, with the goal of gathering 500 technology experts to work by 2025 and expanding in the future. Here, 100% of FPT products will also be researched and developed, with an average of 10 new products expected to be launched each year.

According to Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang, the Da Nang Data Center is considered one of the city's driving projects in the current period, and is one of the important factors contributing to the formation of a modern technology ecosystem, making Da Nang a smart city, a leading data center, innovation and digital transformation in the Central region and the whole country.

At the same time, the R&D Center for high technology and semiconductor chips is expected to become a technology "incubator" where Vietnamese and international experts join hands to develop products bearing the Make in Vietnam - Make in Da Nang imprint.

It can be said that these projects demonstrate the high determination, strong participation and strategic vision of the city's leaders in creating favorable conditions for businesses to invest in the high-tech sector. At the same time, it affirms the city's long-term vision in digital transformation, building digital government and developing the national digital economy.

One of the typical projects that is actively deployed, determined to complete construction, and organize technical traffic opening on the occasion of the city's big holiday is the Quang Da bridge project and the bridge approach road.

The project will start construction in December 2023, with a total investment of VND 274,787 billion from the budget of Da Nang city and Quang Nam province. This is a project of important political and social significance, a symbol of solidarity and affection between the two localities.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh shared that the technical opening of Quang Da Bridge and the approach road is an important step that opens up many new development opportunities. A new bridge connects the two banks of the river, connecting traffic between Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city and Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province; thereby gradually completing the traffic network, promoting socio-economic development.

Urban reconstruction

Along with economic development, the outstanding achievement of Da Nang after 50 years of construction and development is the "transformation" of the city. Spacious, modern roads, civilized, clean neighborhoods have become symbols of Da Nang in the hearts of tourists. Following that achievement, in the current period, the city focuses on devoting resources to investing in urban reconstruction, overcoming the shortcomings of infrastructure caused by many years of use. Typically, the project to renovate inner-city roads was started on the occasion of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City.

The project includes the following components: renovating the drainage system, burying power lines, information lines, lighting lines, replacing and planting additional trees; relocating the water supply system, installing additional fire hydrants; installing curbs, repaving sidewalks with natural granite and renovating the road surface with reinforced asphalt concrete. The total length of the 4 routes is nearly 7km, with a total investment of nearly 282 billion VND from the city budget, expected to be completed in early 2026.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh said that the project's goal is to contribute to increasing urban aesthetics, ensuring drainage capacity, meeting the requirements of tourism and economic development, serving the needs of the people, improving the quality of traffic infrastructure in the central area of ​​Da Nang city, creating motivation to attract tourists and investors when coming to Da Nang city.

This is the first step in the plan to renovate the infrastructure of other inner-city roads, aiming for a spacious appearance, serving tourism development and people's lives, contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful city.

Also on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the City Liberation Day, the project to improve the landscape of the riverside sidewalk along Thang Long Street was handed over and put into use.

The project is designed to be modern and user-friendly, to meet the increasing travel needs of residents and tourists; contribute to the completion and synchronous connection of technical infrastructure, continuously connecting the riverside walking route, contributing to the embellishment of the landscape, strengthening the green space for the urban area; create space for public activities, entertainment of the community in the area; at the same time, it is also a highlight of the city's landscape on the west bank of Cam Le River.

According to Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, the project is expected to create a safe and clean space on the sidewalk of Thang Long Street, encouraging people to walk, contributing to building a civilized and modern Da Nang city. At the same time, the city government will continue to make efforts to improve infrastructure, better meeting the needs of the people and the requirements of the city's socio-economic development in the coming time.

Improve people's quality of life

With special humanitarian significance, the Social Housing Apartment Project for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution on Vu Mong Nguyen Street is one of the projects that was put into use during the historic March days, celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the city's liberation day, celebrating the homeland of Da Nang firmly on the path of innovation and development.

The project has a total investment of 223.82 billion VND, with a scale of 12 floors, 1 basement, 1 attic floor and synchronous investment in green landscape infrastructure. The total construction floor area is 22,172m2; 209 apartments are arranged, with an area of ​​65 to 77m2/apartment.

In order to meet the people's expectations for a green, clean, beautiful, spacious amusement park and other cultural and social activities, the city has organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Upgrading and Renovating March 29 Park project on this anniversary. This is a project of special significance related to the field of cultural and social institutions, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

The project has a total cost of nearly 673 billion VND, with an architectural planning adjustment plan with the idea of ​​"Peace Ring", deployed on a planning area of ​​189,871 m2 (nearly 19 hectares); expected to be completed in September 2026.

One of the typical cultural works of great significance inaugurated on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City is the project to renovate and upgrade the 42 Bach Dang facility to become the Da Nang Museum. This is a decision of historical significance, marking a turning point in the journey of building, preserving and promoting cultural values ​​bearing the heritage of Da Nang in particular and Quang Nam in general; receiving the consensus and support of the city's government and people as well as domestic cultural and historical researchers.

According to Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, the project meets the functions of a modern museum, with digital technology applications, creating visual and vivid effects; vivid approaches and explanations, interactive spaces, connecting emotions and intelligence to help visitors explore and experience for themselves. The museum owns a warehouse of artifacts according to modern museum standards, adding areas to serve the needs of community learning according to world trends such as educational areas for children, open warehouse displays.

Da Nang Museum has a system of scientific and aesthetic display and interpretation and modern facilities, with nearly 3,000 documents and artifacts out of 27,000 documents and artifacts owned by the museum, combining traditional display style with modern projection technology, especially the application of 3D Mapping films, 3D films, documentaries, and image slides to increase the experience and interaction for visitors.

On this occasion, the city also announced the commencement of the project to build a statue of Uncle Ho in the General Science Library. The project aims to honor and praise the life and career of beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
