Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy is the Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

(NLDO) - Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son has signed a decision to transfer and appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy to hold the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training. The decision takes effect from the date of signing on March 3, 2025.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy is the Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

Before being transferred and appointed, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy was Director of the Department of Higher Education.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy was born in 1975, graduated from Foreign Trade University in 1997, graduated with a Master's degree from the Vietnam - Netherlands Development Economics Master's Program in 1999. She has a Master's degree in Financial Management in the Netherlands in 2004, and a PhD in Finance in the Netherlands in 2008.

Ms. Thuy was appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2012.

She has 20 years of experience as a lecturer at Foreign Trade University and has held management positions such as Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Vice Principal of the school. In 2019, she was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education. In 2020, she was appointed Acting Director.

Associate Professor, Dr. Thuy has many years of working and contributing in the field of higher education, many years of experience in university management and administration. During her time working at Foreign Trade University, she has conducted hundreds of different scientific works, with many international publications.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy has been ranked by REPEC as a top economic scientist in Vietnam for many years, is the head of many programs and research topics at all levels, and the director of international research projects.

The Minister of Education and Training also signed a decision to transfer and appoint many other personnel of the Ministry of Education and Training. Mr. Hoang Duc Minh, Director of the Department of Continuing Education, was appointed as Director of the Department of Students.

Mr. Pham Quang Hung, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, was appointed Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information.

Mr. Truong Anh Dung, Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, was appointed Director of the Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh De, Director of the Department of Physical Education, was appointed Director of the Department of Preschool Education.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education, was appointed Deputy Director, in charge of the Department of Higher Education.

Mr. Thai Van Tai, Director of the Department of Primary Education, was appointed Director of the Department of General Education.
