The virtual filtering was carried out by the Ministry of Education and Training 6 times according to the process, from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. today, August 17. After that, the schools downloaded the results of the 6th round of processing and prepared to announce the admission scores.

Schools will only be able to announce admission scores from 5pm today.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 17, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results for preschool education colleges and universities in 2024.

According to the 2024 enrollment plan, today, August 17, is the last virtual filtering day with 2 virtual filtering rounds. The Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) has just requested training institutions to increase human and material resources to perform well the virtual filtering and selection work.

At the same time, review to ensure accurate recruitment, in accordance with regulations, procedures and within prescribed time.

In particular, the Department of Higher Education especially noted: "Schools absolutely must not make mistakes when uploading the final expected admission results file to the system.

After the last virtual filtering, absolutely do not re-examine to remove candidates from the list of successful candidates after virtual filtering.

Schools are only allowed to announce the admission scores after the last virtual filtering round (ie after 4pm today). The announcement of admission scores must be accompanied by the announcement of the admission score scale and the announcement of additional criteria information (if any).

Training institutions are autonomous in enrollment and are responsible for determining enrollment quotas and admission scores for the school's training majors/groups; if the school determines that the expected admission list is not close to reality, leading to enrollment exceeding the registered quota, the school and related individuals are fully responsible and will be handled according to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Schools that do not meet their enrollment targets in the first round may continue to consider additional rounds. The Department of Higher Education requests that schools and relevant individuals seriously implement the above contents.

Many schools will announce their benchmark scores right after the virtual screening ends this afternoon.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre, leaders of many universities said they will announce official benchmark scores immediately after receiving the results of the 6th round of processing from the Ministry of Education and Training.

The remaining schools will announce their benchmark scores on August 18 and 19. The Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 19.

After the schools announce the admission scores, candidates can look up the admission results at the school's admission portal. After that, new students can complete the admission procedures directly at the schools.

Candidates are not required to enroll before August 19.

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training said it would return the results of the 6th virtual filtering to schools to arrange, balance and prepare for the announcement of benchmark scores at 4:00 p.m. on August 17.

The Department of Higher Education noted that schools must require all candidates to confirm their admission online on the system, before enrolling at the school.

The Ministry has also requested that universities not require candidates to confirm their admission before August 19, and not to end admission confirmation or end admission before 5:00 p.m. on August 27 (including for joint training programs with foreign countries).
