On July 17, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province announced that it had issued Notice No. 88/TB-UBND on the assignment of operations of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Committee assigned Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Committee from July 16 until the position of Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee is completed.

Previously, on July 10, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province passed a resolution to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 19th term, 2021-2026.

According to the Prime Minister's disciplinary decision on April 26, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang was determined to have committed violations and shortcomings in her work and was subject to Party disciplinary action by the Central Inspection Commission.
