Previously, Mr. Tran Anh Tu submitted a resignation letter from his positions at VFF and VPF. This businessman decided to stop playing with 11-a-side football, focusing only on women's football and futsal. Success kept coming and he started to rebuild Ho Chi Minh City Club, further moving towards VPF. This is the big difference of the most successful futsal leader in history. The Vietnamese futsal team winning tickets to the World Cup twice in a row is an unforgettable milestone for Vietnamese football.
At the VFF Executive Committee meeting of the 9th term held on the afternoon of March 27, representatives of several V.League teams also expressed their support for Mr. Tran Anh Tu. However, improving the quality of referees and minimizing serious errors needs to be done immediately. The V.League is developing but the level of referees cannot keep up.
