CTTĐT - Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.

On the morning of January 11, 2025, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

According to the decision of the Politburo, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, was transferred and assigned to hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Dang Xuan Phong was born in 1972, from Tien Lu commune, Lap Thach district, Vinh Phuc province; professional qualification: Doctor of Economics.

He started working in Lao Cai as a specialist in the General Department, Department of Planning and Investment from 1994-1996.

After that, he held many positions in this agency, until 2010 when he became Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Lao Cai province.

From 2014 to August 2015, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong held the position of Secretary of Bac Ha District Party Committee, Lao Cai province; from August 2015 to September 2015, he was Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.

After that, he successively held the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, and Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.

From October 2020 to January 2021, he served as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Lao Cai province (from November 2020).

From January 2021 to June 2021, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong was a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lao Cai province.

From June 2021 to present, he is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee; Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai province.
