Speaking with VietNamNet this afternoon (November 26), Mr. Dinh Van Quyen, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Dong Commune (An Duong District, Hai Phong) confirmed: An Duong District Police are coordinating with functional units to investigate the girl's many actions that exceeded the permitted regulations, causing bad public opinion at the headquarters of the People's Committee of this commune.
According to Mr. Quyen, the incident happened on the afternoon of November 25, the female driver was identified as Ms. Le Thi Th. (born in 1997, from Thanh Hoa). She recently opened a health care club in Vinh Khe village (An Dong commune).
According to Ms. Th., during work, she had a conflict with a male co-worker. On the morning of November 25, she went to the commune police station to report this conflict...
On the afternoon of November 25, Ms. Th. returned to the headquarters of the An Dong Commune People's Committee and met with the commune police chief. After failing to get her wish, Ms. Th. went to the headquarters yard, insulted the officers, and knocked over several motorbikes and other belongings there.
Upon receiving the information, An Duong District Police arrived and coordinated with the commune police to make a record, take statements from witnesses and the female driver. At 1:00 a.m. this morning (November 26), the police temporarily handed over the female driver to her family for management.
Ms. Th.'s mother told the police that her daughter had recently lost control of her behavior and showed signs of mental illness.
The case is being completed by An Duong District Police for consideration and handling according to regulations.
