Regarding the case of "4th-year female student staying in Ho Chi Minh City to work extra during Tet, mysteriously disappeared", today (February 8), the family of female student Liu Ngoc Hang confirmed that they had received information from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Guangzhou City (Guangdong Province, China).

Accordingly, Chinese authorities found Hang after coordinating with immigration authorities in Guangzhou.

The family said that the Consulate General has contacted Hang directly to inform her about her situation and support the necessary procedures to bring her back home. Hang is expected to return to Vietnam on a flight tonight.

"Due to some problems, the flight has changed compared to before. The family is currently hoping to see the child as soon as possible," the family informed.

Previously, Hang's family reported to the authorities that the female student had lost contact after staying in Ho Chi Minh City to work during Tet.

In recent days, family and friends have been very worried and have called for help from authorities to find the girl's whereabouts.

However, detailed information about Hang's journey and the cause of her disappearance have not been released.
