(Dan Tri) - During the music night "We are the wall" in Ho Chi Minh City, Buc Tuong took the audience through many emotional moments.
We are the wall is a live show celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of The Wall. On the evening of March 29, the program was held in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting the participation of many audiences.
The leader of Buc Tuong expressed that he and the members were moved to return to Ho Chi Minh City to organize a live show.
"30 years is a long time. Many audiences have listened to our compositions 3 decades ago. Today, there is no gap between generations. Thank you for your support," musician Tran Tuan Hung said at the opening of the concert.

During the live show that lasted more than 3 hours, Buc Tuong performed a series of songs that made the group famous. When the melodies of Bong Hong Thuy Tinh, Tam Hon Cua Da, Niem Tin Cho Cat Bui, Nu Em Hieu, Mat Den, Ngay Hom Qua rang out, about 1,000 fans in the auditorium sang along, "burning" themselves out with the band.
Stage presence and solid experience help Buc Tuong master the music, handle changes, and give new life to old songs.
Guest singers such as Nguyen Viet Lam and Duong Tran Nghia took on the lead vocals, filling the void left by the late leader Tran Lap. The group also had a special gift for the audience, a performance of the moon lute by Meritorious Artist Anh Tan in the song Song Song Hong.

Interspersed with performances, musician Tran Tuan Hung recounted memories of composing a number of songs. "In 1994, musician Tran Lap kicked open the door to the studio, excitedly showing off his new composition called Father and Son. He said that this would be a song with lasting value and vitality like Road to Glory ," Tran Tuan Hung recounted.
Standing on stage performing the song Father and Son, singer Duong Tran Nghia believes that any parent will understand the meaning of the song's lyrics.
"We do not give our children material things or money, but we will give them challenges and hardships so that they can grow up strong and stand firmly on their own two feet. I believe that somewhere in this auditorium, Mr. Tran Lap is still here singing with us," the male singer expressed.

Recalling the journey full of emotions, from challenges to glory and even loss, the group Buc Tuong did not forget to send their gratitude to the late musician Tran Lap. The moment the song May Rain sounded, the screen showed Tran Lap's image, many viewers quietly raised their hands to wipe away tears.
The enthusiastic support of the Southern audience for Buc Tuong was also an unforgettable moment of We are the wall . Many fans traveled from Da Nang, Vung Tau, Long An... to attend the concert.
The majority of the audience are people from the 7X and 8X generations, who have been with the band for 30 years, experiencing their youth and many memories of their student days.
When the program played videos recalling the early days of the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, many viewers were moved to tears. Fans said the group's songs carried positive energy, encouraging listeners to have the motivation to fight and rise up in life.

Mr. Q.D. (43 years old, Go Vap district) - a former student of Hanoi University of Construction - brought his wife and children to watch the live show. He said that Buc Tuong is a band that he has admired for more than 20 years. After his student days, his busy work and family life made him forget the emotions of his youth.
"I get to relive many unforgettable memories. Listening to the group's rock songs again, I still feel the same emotions as 22 years ago," the audience shared with Dan Tri reporter.
At the end of the show, the band Buc Tuong cut their 30th birthday cake. Leader Tran Tuan Hung revealed that this year, the band will have many new projects, especially a solo concert at the end of the year.
"Thirty years is not a destination, but a milestone to continue walking together," the band shared.
The Wall was founded in 1995 and has released 7 studio albums including: Soul of Stone (2001), Invisible (2003), Magnet (2004), Another Day (2010), Dat Viet (2014), Nameless Road (2020), Balance (2023).
The group had a 4-year breakup (2006-2010) and then reunited. After leader Tran Lap passed away in 2016, the group still maintains its activities until now. Buc Tuong currently consists of members: Tran Tuan Hung, Vu Van Ha, Xuan Kien, Pham Trung Hieu.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Buc Tuong organized the live show We are the wall . The first music night took place in Hanoi on March 26.
