Every year, on the 10th day of the third lunar month, Phu Tho province is honored to welcome millions of visitors from all over the country to offer incense and commemorate the Hung Kings. With constant efforts, Phu Tho has elevated the organization of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land to become a model, solemn festival imbued with national identity.
This year's Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land promises to attract a large number of people and tourists from all over the world, especially when workers have 3 consecutive days off (from March 8 to March 10 of the lunar calendar). The event will take place with many unique activities, vividly recreating the culture of the Hung Kings' era, while inheriting and promoting traditional values in contemporary society.
The Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony is solemnly and solemnly organized according to national customs, with incense and flower offering rituals by Party and State delegations and a large number of people nationwide. At the same time, disease prevention and control, environmental sanitation are also being focused on, ready to welcome compatriots from all over the country to offer incense to the ancestors in a solemn and respectful atmosphere.
Phu Tho province has directed relevant agencies and units to step up planning and rearrangement of the system of shops and service points in the relic area to ensure aesthetics and civilization. At the same time, it has strengthened inspection and strictly handled violations in business activities, especially during the festival.
Tourism management is also focused on with the requirement that tourist areas, destinations and service businesses in the area upgrade facilities, improve the landscape and environment, enhance product quality, and ensure security and safety conditions to best serve tourists when they come to participate in activities in the Hung Kings' Commemoration and Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2025.

Aiming to build a model festival nationwide, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province has directed departments, branches and localities to synchronously implement solutions to ensure safety and civilization. In particular, special attention is paid to preventing traffic jams, not allowing businesses to arbitrarily increase prices or "rip off" tourists. Service businesses must publicly post prices, ensuring transparency. In addition, the province is also determined to prevent homeless and homeless people from affecting the solemn image of the festival. At the same time, order is maintained, jostling and pushing are minimized, creating conditions for people nationwide to participate in the festival safely and respectfully.

A special highlight is the opening art program of the Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land with the theme "Echoes of the origin" taking place on the evening of March 1 (lunar calendar) at Hung Vuong Square.
From March 1 to 9 (lunar calendar), Van Lang Park will become a vibrant cultural space with a series of night art programs serving the people and tourists. Outstanding activities include: Xoan singing performances by Xoan singing and folk song clubs, mass art performances, exchanges between youth dance groups, guitar bands, folk dance clubs, dancing, and the art program "Returning to the festival city". In particular, on the evening of March 9 of the lunar calendar, there will be a high-altitude fireworks display on Van Lang Park Lake, creating a brilliant highlight to close the series of colorful art activities. In addition, the program "Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land - Phu Tho in 2025" will also be held, contributing to enriching the experience for visitors and enhancing the attractiveness of the festival.

Along with cultural activities, this year's festival also organizes many sports tournaments to create a vibrant and meaningful playground, including: Golf Tournament "Drinking water, remembering the source" - Phu Tho 2025, Martial arts Quintessence Festival towards the Origin, Marathon "Returning to the Source" 2025... These activities not only contribute to promoting the image of the Ancestral Land but also spread the spirit of solidarity and community connection through sports and culture".
On March 31, at the Hung Vuong Museum, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc opened the thematic exhibition "Hung Vuong culture in the flow of Red River civilization".
The event is part of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the 2025 Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land, introducing 300 typical artifacts from the dawn of the nation. The exhibition consists of two parts: Cultural heritage of the Hung Kings' era in Phu Tho and Pre-Hung Kings' archaeological vestiges in Vinh Phuc.
Visitors can admire artifacts of Phung Nguyen, Go Mun, Dong Son cultures, along with documents on Hung King worship and Xoan singing in Phu Tho. On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho also screened a pilot documentary film Hung King Era with full HD technology and 3D effects.
