Female student beats up her friend in class, uses electric shock to threaten her

(NLDO) – A 10th grade female student in Dak Lak repeatedly slapped her friend in the face in class and used an electric shock to threaten her in front of her classmates.

On March 7, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoang, Principal of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province), confirmed that an incident had just occurred in which a female student beat her friend and was carrying an electric shock device.

According to the report of Huynh Thuc Khang High School, the two students involved are PHYN and NTL (both in class 10A7).

The cause of the incident was determined to be because N. saw a post on social media (incognito mode) defaming her, so she suspected L. had written it.

When arriving at class, N. slapped L. in the face many times. When beating his friend, N. brought an electric shocker (shaped like a lighter) to scare him. Considering the seriousness of the incident, fighting, and bringing weapons to school, the school leaders made a report, along with the students' statements and evidence, and transferred it to Thong Nhat Ward Police (Buon Ho town) to clarify the incident.

The school is also investigating the students who witnessed the incident but did not intervene or report it to the school to prevent it.

"The school is inviting parents to a meeting to continue reviewing and come up with an appropriate form of handling. After receiving the investigation conclusion from the police, the school will continue to establish a Disciplinary Council to handle the matter," said Mr. Hoang.

Previously, on March 4, a video appeared on social media recording a female student repeatedly slapping another female student in the face in class.

While slapping her friend, the female student laughed and took out an electric shock device to press it, making noises to scare her. Being beaten and threatened with an electric shock, the female student could only sit there, covering her face in fear.
