Notably, in August 2024, Mai An and her group of excellent authors won the First Prize of the National Robotacon Competition for the 2023-2024 school year, with the project: "Processing and storing clean water for households in the mangrove areas of the Southwest". According to Mai An, the lack of fresh water for daily use for households in the Southwest region is the driving force that motivated her and her friends to implement the above project, with the desire to find a solution to help people have a clean water source to use at all times. An and 2 friends from the same school started researching for 3 months last summer, under the guidance of 2 teachers at the school. The interesting point of the project is that the students applied technology, using robots to operate auxiliary equipment for rough filtration, ion filtration and clean water storage. “Using robots in clean water treatment will help people save time and effort, not only improving the living water conditions of each household but also supporting the improvement of efficiency in production activities. Thereby, providing clean and safe water will contribute to promoting local economic development and improving the quality of life of the community,” Mai An said. With this project, Mai An and her team will represent Vietnam at the world robot competition, taking place in Türkiye and Singapore this November. The competition will have the participation of contestants from 80 countries around the world.
