Pham Phuong Thao has just released the MV "Carrying Mom Back to Heaven". This is a new composition by Pham Phuong Thao herself, adapted from the poem "Carrying Mom Back to Play" by poet Khanh Duong, arranged by Cao Xuan Dung, Mixed & Mastered by Pham Viet Tuan.
Meritorious Artist Pham Phuong Thao released the MV "Carrying mother back to heaven".
The song is the farewell cry of a child when his mother leaves this world, but it does not carry the color of pain and sorrow, but is expressed by the author with a gentle attitude, carrying the spirit of enlightenment of Buddhism, that life is only temporary, the separations today are also only temporary separations in the endless cycle of reincarnation. Therefore, a filial child does not have to send his mother to heaven but carries her to heaven, takes her to another world - a paradise, to watch the moon, to welcome the wind, no longer toiling all year round for her husband and children like the life on earth she has experienced.
However, hidden in the optimistic perspective and gentle mindset of "the fate of this world is over" are the lingering regrets of a child who cannot return to the past to cherish and share his mother's hardships, so that his mother can be at peace...
The song and MV convey the spirit of Buddhism, enlightenment and reincarnation, separation but reunion, not forever separation. Through music , Pham Phuong Thao wishes to express the feelings of children for their parents.
Pham Phuong Thao said that there was a long period of being haunted by fear because of thinking about the moment of saying goodbye to her parents: "I look strong on the outside but sometimes I am very weak. I have experienced two unexpected losses, separating from my two great teachers, Mr. Quy Duong and Mr. An Thuyen. I did not anticipate the painful separation from my loved ones, so I was very scared.
I was often haunted by the thought that one day my parents would leave me. At that time, I was determined not to allow myself to be weak, not to worry or be afraid, but to think about how to live to make my parents happy, secure, and do everything so that I would not have any regrets while they were still alive."
Meritorious Artist Pham Phuong Thao cried when talking about the fear of separation from her parents.
She is lucky to still have her parents to be filial and to be a child: " For the past 10 years, I have lived and taken for granted that my parents are always in my life. Whatever I do, I think of my parents first. For a long time, there were times when I imagined my parents' separation, not knowing if I would be able to be with them, what it would be like.
Many times I told my parents to be generous and forgive me if I did something that made them unhappy. We could part ways, and my parents could pass away without ever seeing each other. Thinking about it a lot will gradually make things easier. Thao thinks that she should live well with her parents, and that there is nothing to regret, even when thinking about the moment of separation."
However, she still feels guilty towards her parents for not settling down at the age of 41. Talking about this, Pham Phuong Thao emotionally said: "I think we have not just one but many faults towards our parents. Today, I dare not invite my parents here, because I have to say that my parents are very weak. I feel guilty about many things, not just one.
Every parent always wants their children to "settle down" and have a successful family life. My parents are the same. Right now, I don't dare talk about it, I feel it's better to avoid it."
Pham Phuong Thao said she always tries to spend time with her parents. Sometimes, Pham Phuong Thao comes home but stays in her room to listen to her parents talk, argue, tease each other and laugh out loud.
"The laughter of two people who have accompanied us for more than 50 years through so many joys and sorrows, raising my five siblings, and marrying each of us off. Then each of us carries our own burdens in life, but the ones who hurt the most are still our parents. And so, many moments of silence multiply, leaving a deep impression on the eyes of our parents ."
