With the goal that by 2025, Ninh Hai district will have over 30 OCOP products recognized as 3 stars or higher; of which, striving to have 1-2 potential 5-star products recognized as national OCOP products. In addition, the district also aims to consolidate and upgrade at least 30% of OCOP products that have been evaluated and classified; striving for at least 30% of OCOP entities to be cooperatives, 40% to be small and medium enterprises; striving for 30% of OCOP entities to build a value chain towards a circular economy, green OCOP associated with stable raw material areas.
To achieve the set goals, the district has directed specialized departments and offices to increase resource mobilization from programs and projects; at the same time, focus on implementing key tasks and solutions for implementation. In particular, priority is given to supporting organizations, enterprises, cooperatives, and individuals producing products participating in the OCOP Program with specific solutions such as: Orientation and consultation on upgrading and perfecting products towards quality standardization; management and supervision of quality standards; support for training, technical guidance, branding, trade promotion, and product promotion.

In addition, the model of linking OCOP product production is expanded and developed in association with the construction of typical agricultural raw material areas with regional codes for growing products in the direction of VietGAP, organic, ecological agriculture, saving resources, conserving nature, biodiversity, ensuring food safety and traceability of OCOP products. Along with that, the district focuses on investing in technical infrastructure, bringing OCOP products to e-commerce platforms to expand the scale of the OCOP product consumption market. Up to now, Ninh Hai has 26 products recognized as OCOP products; Of which, 5 products/4 subjects achieved 4 stars (NH01-152 grapes, green grapes, apples, garlic, Nui Chua National Park eco-tourism), 11 products/4 subjects achieved 3 stars (dried apples, sugar-free dried grapes, dried pink grapes, Hong Van jelly jam, red grapes, grape molasses, grape wine, purple onions, asparagus, Tu Phung special fish sauce, Tu Phung premium fish sauce).
Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhan, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ninh Hai district, said: The work of supporting the development of new products by applying small and medium-scale processing and preliminary processing technology has been focused on. In particular, priority is given to products processed from specialties, local materials, craft village products, and products associated with preserving traditional culture. At the same time, OCOP subjects are instructed on the protection and effective exploitation of intellectual property values such as geographical indications, collective trademarks, and certification marks for OCOP products. Thanks to that, products have increasingly accessed the market, thereby enhancing their position and competitiveness in the market, increasing the value and reputation of products, increasing income, improving people's lives, and contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
