Identifying the development of rural transport infrastructure as an important factor, creating a foundation for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the locality, Ninh Phuoc district has directed departments, communes and towns to organize reviews, statistics, planning plans and proposals for traffic routes in the district. From there, plans and investment roadmaps for upgrading and solidifying traffic works and developing plans for management and maintenance of traffic works in the area. Along with that, the district is also proactive in calling for, mobilizing and attracting capital from businesses and contributions from people to invest in building rural transport infrastructure. From 2021 to present, through capital sources from the new rural program (NTM), projects, credit loans, other mobilized capital and people's contributions, Ninh Phuoc district has invested over 942 billion VND to build rural transport infrastructure. From these sources of capital, the district has allocated funds to invest in the construction, renovation and upgrading of many inter-commune and inter-village roads. Up to now, the whole district has developed, renovated and upgraded many inter-commune roads with a length of nearly 60km; 100% of communes and towns have car roads to the commune center and goods circulation on the routes; 100% of commune roads, over 85% of village roads, alley roads; 91% of intra-field roads have been concreted and hardened... Thereby, contributing to improving the lives of people in rural areas, promoting the socio-economic development of the district.
Investing in developing rural transport infrastructure in the district not only creates favorable conditions for rural people to travel conveniently, trade and exchange goods, but also helps villages and communes complete the transport criteria in the set of criteria for building new rural areas, bringing a new look to rural areas. Comrade Huynh Thanh Huy Thai, Vice Chairman of Phuoc Hai Commune People's Committee said: Determining the investment in developing rural transport infrastructure to serve the construction of new rural areas and advanced new rural areas, although there are still many difficulties, the locality has been proactive in mobilizing people's strength to gradually complete the transport network in the area. Along with the support of the State, the commune focuses on mobilizing resources, propagating, mobilizing people to agree, contributing working days and money to harden traffic routes, so many routes in the area have been expanded. Up to now, the commune has concreted and hardened many village and inter-village roads with a length of over 16.7km; 11.9km of alley roads, 19km of intra-field roads... After being completed and put into use, the routes will help people easily circulate, transport goods, and travel more conveniently.
Comrade Dang Nang Tom, Vice Chairman of Ninh Phuoc District People's Committee said: Thanks to investment attention, the rural traffic system in Ninh Phuoc district has been developed relatively completely and seamlessly, not only meeting the needs of transporting goods and traveling of the people but also contributing to helping communes complete the traffic criteria in the set of criteria for building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas, changing the face of agriculture and rural areas, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development. In order to gradually complete the rural traffic system network, creating momentum for socio-economic development, the district continues to review, plan and propose priority routes for investment; focus resources on investing in rural traffic routes for villages and communes striving to achieve advanced new rural areas and urban routes in Phuoc Dan town. At the same time, strengthen propaganda work, mobilize people to participate, direct communes to make efforts to complete the road construction plan, meet people's travel needs and serve local socio-economic development.
