With land located in the core area of ​​the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant construction project in Vinh Truong village, Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam), 3 months ago, Mr. TVV's household arbitrarily built a house on an area of ​​about 30 square meters. But when the foundation was just laid, the local authorities discovered and promptly stopped it. Comrade Nguyen Duy Hai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Dinh commune, said: Up to now, in the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project area, there have only been 2 cases of illegal house construction and pond digging, which were discovered and promptly handled by the local authorities. The above results were achieved thanks to the fact that since the project was implemented, the local authorities assigned cadres in charge of the area, coordinated with the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to each household in the project area to strengthen propaganda, combined with land management and construction order.

According to the plan, the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project has a total construction area of ​​over 503 hectares. To implement the project, 617 households must have their land reclaimed. Through the propaganda of the local government, cadres, party members and people in the project area highly agree with the Party and State's policy on building the nuclear power plant project; comply with regulations on maintaining the current status of houses and land, not building or expanding houses, as well as not encroaching on land or transferring land, to serve the site clearance work. Having a house in the core area that must be relocated to implement the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project, Mr. Nguyen Van Trong, Vinh Truong village said: Since General Secretary To Lam visited the planning area of ​​the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project and discussed with the local government and people about support, compensation and resettlement policies when the State reclaims land to implement the project, my family has been very secure and trusts the Party and the State; I have also personally promoted to households in the area not to expand or repair their houses and to maintain the current status to facilitate site clearance. Currently, households in the project area are coordinating with local authorities to measure and inventory assets on the land to speed up site clearance, with the determination to complete before May 15, 2025 according to the schedule set by the Provincial People's Committee.

The strict compliance of the people in the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project area with regulations on land and construction order will be an important premise for the province to complete the site clearance work by the end of 2025 according to the schedule set by the Government. Therefore, acts of illegal house construction, buying, selling, transferring, and encroaching on land to profit from the project will not be considered for compensation or support and will be handled according to the provisions of law.
