Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, said that the International Travel Conference - Quang Nam 2025 is a forum for exchanging and proposing solutions for developing tourism in Quang Nam in general and the western mountainous region of the province in particular. The conference will hear tourism experts, domestic and foreign businesses share and suggest solutions for product development, attracting domestic and international tourists, including important markets such as India, Korea, Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe...

In addition, the Workshop is also an opportunity to strengthen the connection and cooperation in tourism development between tourist destinations in the province, between domestic and international partners in the tourism industry; at the same time, announce the tourism route connecting from East to West of Quang Nam: Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate, connecting diverse cultures, creating tourism products and services with unique and different marks, contributing to the development of the province's tourism industry, making Quang Nam tourism an attractive destination for tourists. This is also an opportunity for Quang Nam to introduce its potential, opportunities and attractive tourism projects, contributing to building the image of Quang Nam tourism to become a green tourism brand spreading on the world tourism map.

Speaking at the workshop, Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that the international tourism workshop - Quang Nam 2025 has profound significance for Quang Nam province in order to promote the image, culture and people of Quang Nam to domestic and international friends and tourists; at the same time, this is also a valuable opportunity for Quang Nam to receive the opinions of delegates, thereby continuing to study orientations, guidelines and implementation solutions to develop green tourism and sustainable tourism in the coming time.

The Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee requested the tourism sector and related units and localities to focus on advising the provincial leaders to direct the effective and extensive implementation of the Central Government's orientations and directions on tourism, including urgently advising and implementing tasks and solutions to create breakthroughs in tourism development as stated in the Quang Nam Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Focus on improving the quality of existing tourism products, building new tourism products, focusing on the province's advantageous and typical products on the basis of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, connecting tourist routes and destinations to form new tourism corridors; encourage and attract businesses to invest in product development; improve the effectiveness of promoting and advertising the province's tourism development potential and strengths through many information channels, and have mechanisms for businesses and influential people to participate in promoting and advertising the image of the people and land of Quang Nam, rich in hospitality.

At the workshop, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province announced the decision and awarded the Green Tourism certificate to Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area; announced the decision to approve the transport exploitation route on the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Road. At the same time, awarded the record certificate for the longest dragon-shaped covered corridor in Vietnam; signed memorandums of understanding on cooperation and association to develop tourism in Quang Nam.

The Hoi An – My Son – Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route is the first official intra-provincial tourism route announced in the orientation of developing a new tourism corridor in Quang Nam province, connecting the Hoi An – My Son tourism center with the western and southern regions of the province and further connecting with domestic and regional tourism centers.

On that basis, tourism units and businesses will promote the construction and development of diverse tourism products, providing quality services for domestic and international tourists, especially forming diverse tourism programs with different themes, connecting tourist destinations on one or more tourist routes.

Representatives of Vietravel Tourism Company proposed that Quang Nam province speed up the completion of the DT609 route and connecting routes, ensuring safety and shortening the travel time from Hoi An - My Son to the mountainous district of Dong Giang. Along with that, planning stops on the route with clean toilets, convenience stores, gas stations... to serve tourists. Attracting investment in building eco-hotels, small resorts or high-quality homestays near My Son and Dong Giang so that visitors have a place to stay overnight. Researching and implementing an effective Hoi An - Dong Giang tourist bus route and considering other sustainable transportation options such as the local electric car route and bicycle rentals in Hoi An and Dong Giang.
