Regularly from Monday to Saturday morning every week, the Provincial Library opens its doors to welcome readers. Being present at the children's reading room, I clearly feel the space is designed modernly, beautifully decorated; the bookshelves are arranged scientifically , convenient for children to find books. The passionate eyes, the tiny hands tightly holding comic books, fairy tales or discovery books... create a vivid picture of the love of books from childhood. In addition to serving children, the Provincial Library also meets the diverse needs of many groups of people such as students, officials, civil servants, the elderly... The reading rooms are designed in harmony between aesthetics and functionality, with full tables, chairs, bookshelves, personal reading areas and common activities. Documents, books and newspapers are regularly changed according to current topics and events of the year, creating novelty and arousing interest for readers. As a loyal reader of the Provincial Library for many years, Nguyen Nam Phong, a 9th grade student at Le Dinh Chinh Secondary School (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) shared: The library is a treasure trove of rich knowledge with a quiet space, full tables and chairs, neatly arranged books, easy to find and very diverse. After school, I often come here to read books and review lessons. Not only me but many of my schoolmates also love to go to the library whenever they have free time.

Currently, the Provincial Library has about 72,726 book titles/172,385 copies, clearly classified by field to meet the needs of readers. In addition, the library has also developed a digital resource system with 7,225 electronic documents, serving online via the website, helping readers easily access information anytime, anywhere. Investing in both traditional and digital documents contributes to improving the efficiency of library operations, promoting the reading movement and building a learning society in the locality.

One of the highlights that clearly demonstrates the spirit of "bringing books closer to the people" is the multimedia mobile library vehicle activity. From 2020 to present, the Provincial Library has served 356 mobile sessions with 75,917 readers. Along with that, the library has coordinated with sectors and units to organize many meaningful activities. For example, in April, the Provincial Library organized Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day with the theme "Entering the era of national development with books". The event was held from April 15 to 21 on a systematic scale, creating a unique cultural space, including many activities such as: Displaying and introducing specialized books; interacting with authors; readers' conferences; experiential activities, visiting the library; especially a series of competitions such as arranging art book models, drawing pictures from books with the theme " Ninh Thuan - Colors around me", online competition to learn about "50 years of heroic liberation epic"... These competitions are not only useful playgrounds but also a bridge to inspire the passion for reading, learning about the history of the homeland, and training life skills for students, university students, and youth union members.

In the period of 2020-2025, the library organized 2,269 service sessions, attracting more than 2.4 million readers and over 11.5 million documents. Keeping up with the trend of reading books on digital platforms, the library promotes the application of information technology, bringing newspaper and magazine publications to online platforms such as websites, Facebook, YouTube. Rare and valuable documents and specialized documents are also digitized to serve readers. The website content is regularly updated with many attractive sections such as introducing new works, characters, events, and local data. Thanks to that, the number of visits to the website http://thuvienninhthuan.vn reached more than 2.1 million, increasingly serving the needs of readers in the digital environment. The library also built a chatbot system at http://thuvienninhthuan.vn/chatbot/ to help readers look up information quickly and accurately. In addition, opening the library on Saturday mornings also creates favorable conditions for readers to come and learn and use documents. Activities serving readers in the entire library system in the province continue to be maintained effectively from the province to the grassroots. Service models such as coordinating the organization of events, contests, spring newspaper festivals, mobile services, summer activities... are organized regularly, creating a rich selection. Exhibitions and introductions of new books, specialized books, propaganda documents on major holidays, political and social events have attracted thousands of readers to visit, learn, and look up documents.

In addition to the province's initial concern for facilities, equipment and document sources, we pay special attention to improving the quality of on-site services. The library staff always promote a sense of responsibility, flexibility and creativity in their work, from issuing and exchanging library cards quickly and professionally, to building spacious, clean reading spaces, arranging books according to event themes to create highlights and novelty.
