Galaxy devices still waiting for One UI 7

In preparation for the One UI 7 update starting in early April, Samsung has announced a long list of devices eligible for the update. However, there are still many Galaxy devices that are eligible but are still waiting in line for the update schedule from the Korean company.

Basically, the Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and Galaxy F series are all on the list of eligible phones for the One UI 7 update. The problem is that Samsung has only confirmed that high-end smartphones launched in 2024 will be prioritized for the update before expanding the list to phones, tablets, and foldable phones launched from 2021 onwards.

Galaxy devices launched over the past few years have come with different software support policies. Specifically, low-cost phones are usually supported with 2 OS upgrades, while high-end lines like the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z can receive support for up to 7 years. However, the company has changed this support by increasing the software update support period to 6 years for some low-cost smartphones, meaning they will receive One UI 7.

Galaxy devices still have no One UI 7 update schedule

The list of Galaxy A, M, F, and Tab series devices that are eligible for the One UI 7 upgrade but have not been officially confirmed by Samsung includes the following names:

• Galaxy A series: A73, A55, A54, A53, A35, A34, A33, A25, A24, A23, A16, A15 (LTE+5G), A14 (LTE+5G), A06 LTE, A05, A05s.
• Galaxy M series: M16, M55, M55s, M35, M15, M05, M54, M34, M14, M53, M33.
• Galaxy F series: F16, F55/C55, F15, F05, F54, F34, F14.
• Galaxy Tab series: Tab A9, A9+, Tab Active 5, Tab Active 4 Pro.

Note that update availability may vary by model, region, and carrier. Additionally, not all features available on the Galaxy S25 series will be available on earlier devices via the One UI 7 update. The performance of the new software will also depend on the hardware configuration of each device.
