Currently, the whole province has 311/435 cooperatives in operation, accounting for 71.49%.

Of which, the agriculture, forestry and agricultural services sector has 172/435 cooperatives, accounting for 39.5% of the total number of cooperatives in the province; the industry - handicraft sector has 92/435 cooperatives, accounting for 21.1% of the total number of cooperatives; the construction sector has 97/435 cooperatives, accounting for 22.2%; the trade and service sector has 40/435 cooperatives, accounting for 9.1%; the transportation sector has 19/435 cooperatives, accounting for 4.36%; the environmental sector has 15/435 cooperatives operating in the field of providing environmental sanitation services, accounting for 3.44%.

In general, cooperatives maintain production and business activities, proactively and flexibly respond to market changes, expand many industries, develop comprehensive business activities; invest in equipment to improve production capacity, and effectively contribute to the provincial budget.

Besides, cooperatives in Cao Bang also actively participate in social movements and activities in residential areas, contributing to local poverty reduction.
