Many activities attract tourists at Cultural Week

From November 15 to 23, 2024, in Hoa Binh City, the 2024 Hoa Binh Province Culture and Tourism Week will take place. This is an opportunity for Hoa Binh Province to introduce and promote the unique culture of the locality to domestic and foreign tourists.

On November 5, at the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province (Hoa Binh city), a press conference was held to introduce the activities of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province 2024.

At the press conference introducing the organization and activities taking place at the Culture and Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province in 2024, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province, said: "During the Culture and Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province, visitors will have the opportunity to experience diverse cultural activities such as exhibitions, traditional and modern art performances, seminars on sustainable tourism development as well as participating in tours to explore famous landscapes of Hoa Binh".

According to Mr. Toan, within the framework of the Cultural Week, many outstanding activities will take place, including: Fishing praying ceremony and releasing flower lanterns on the Da River on the evening of November 15; art photo exhibition from November 16 to 18; Ceremony to receive the National Special Monument Ranking Certificate for Hang Xom Trai and Mai Da Lang Vanh on the evening of November 16.

In addition, one of the highlights of the event is the second Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival on November 19, honoring local products and creating a separate brand for "Da River Shrimp Hoa Binh" and "Da River Fish Hoa Binh".

Sharing at the press conference about the Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival, Mr. Vuong Dac Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hoa Binh province said: "The Hoa Binh Culture - Tourism Week aims to promote the development of the aquaculture industry and products from Da River fish and shrimp, promote the affirmation of copyrighted brands associated with agricultural products and the ownership of two specialty brands "Da River Shrimp Hoa Binh" and "Da River Fish Hoa Binh". From there, build the image of the Da River fish and shrimp capital to become one of the key economic sectors of Hoa Binh province.

At the same time, through the Festival, the impressive images will be introduced, highlighting the potential, strengths, landscapes and traditional cultural identity of the province in general and the Da River tourist area in particular, contributing to stimulating tourism development and attracting and expanding the domestic and foreign tourist market to Hoa Binh.

Within the framework of the program, there will also be a wine festival with special activities to introduce wine products of four Muong regions: Bi, Vang, Thang, Dong - along with folk songs, folk dances and traditional musical instruments of the Muong people.

In addition, the event also organized a sport fishing competition on Hoa Binh Lake with the participation of 70 anglers, including international anglers, along with tours to explore famous landscapes of Hoa Binh such as Da River Lake, caves, and ethnic villages.

Hoa Binh Culture and Tourism Week is organized to introduce the potential, strengths, images of the land, beautiful nature, unique cultural identities of ethnic groups and Hoa Binh culture. At the same time, promote and introduce products from Da River fish and shrimp; agricultural products, typical OCOP products of the province to attract domestic and international tourism. It is expected that Hoa Binh Culture and Tourism Week 2024 will take place for 9 days from November 15 to November 23, 2024.
