Many businesses have announced Lunar New Year bonuses.

Many localities have just announced the 2025 Lunar New Year and New Year bonuses for businesses, with higher increases than last year.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the morning of December 18, the leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Giang province said that the department had reported on the salary situation in 2024 and the Tet bonus plan in 2025 of enterprises in the province.

The report was collected from nearly 350 enterprises employing approximately 270,000 workers (about 83% of the province's total workforce).

Specifically, the average salary in 2024 is 8,495 million VND/person/month, an increase of 7.6% compared to 2023. The highest salary is 170 million VND/person/month in the foreign-invested enterprise sector (FDI).

Regarding the 2025 Lunar New Year bonus, 199 enterprises plan to give bonuses with an average of VND 356,000/person, an increase of 22.7% compared to Tet 2024.

The highest bonus of over 52 million VND/person belongs to the private enterprise sector. On the contrary, the lowest bonus is 100,000 VND/person.

Regarding the 2025 Lunar New Year bonus, 320 enterprises have bonus plans, with an average of about 7 million VND/person, an increase of 5.5% compared to the 2024 bonus.

The highest bonus is 185,000,000 VND/person for foreign-invested enterprises, and the lowest bonus is 150,000 VND/person.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Tuyen Quang province has just released a salary and bonus report. Specifically, according to reports from more than 2,800 enterprises, the average salary in 2024 is 6.721 million VND/person/month (in 2023 it was only 6.213 million VND/person/month).

Regarding the 2025 Lunar New Year bonus, businesses will give an average bonus of VND 752,000/person, lower than in 2024 (over VND 1.15 million/person). Private businesses will still give the highest bonus with an average of VND 1.126 million/person.

Regarding the Lunar New Year bonus in 2025, the average bonus is expected to be around VND3.59 million/person. This level is higher than the average in 2024, when it was VND3.359 million/person. The private sector still has the highest bonus at over VND5 million/person.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Thai Nguyen province reported that through a report of 319 enterprises with nearly 146,000 employees, the average New Year bonus is 900,000 VND/person. The highest bonus is 85 million VND, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person.

Regarding the 2025 Lunar New Year bonus, 242 businesses plan to give an average bonus of 7.5 million VND/person. The highest bonus is up to 175 million VND, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person.

Lunar New Year 2024, Lunar New Year bonus in Thai Nguyen is highest at 130 million VND, lowest at 100,000 VND.

Previously, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Can Tho City said that the highest expected New Year bonus is over 150 million VND, belonging to foreign-invested enterprises. This bonus is double that of last year (the highest was 69 million VND).

Although the economic situation is still difficult, the highest bonus for Tet At Ty of enterprises in Can Tho is expected to be about 300 million VND, which is 4 times higher than Tet Giap Thin 2024 (more than 69 million VND).
