Man thrown far, hand crushed after loud explosion

(Dan Tri) - While using tools to break rocks in the garden, the man was thrown far away after a loud explosion. The explosion crushed the victim's left arm and severely injured his head and face.

On December 28, a serious explosion occurred in the garden of a household in Loc Chau commune (Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province).

According to initial information, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung (53 years old, residing in Loc Chau commune), went to the garden to quarry stones in the morning of the same day. While using tools to break the stones, a large explosion occurred.

The explosion threw Mr. Hung far away, resulting in a crushed left hand and serious injuries to his head and face.

After receiving the news, Bao Loc city authorities quickly arrived at the scene to block off and clarify the cause of the incident.

Mr. Hung was taken by locals to Lam Dong II Hospital in Bao Loc City for emergency treatment. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, the victim was later transferred to a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.
