The young doctor's determination 'touches' the hearts of many students

At two inspirational sessions for 12th grade students in Hue City and Quang Binh Province preparing for the high school graduation exam, Dr. Nguyen Anh Dan, a lecturer at the University of Education - Hue University, "touched" the hearts of many young people with his own story.

Dr. Nguyen Anh Dan is known as an inspirational speaker for living a beautiful and positive life. He has had more than 100 meetings and conversations with Gen Z across the country. At the meeting with 12th grade students in Hue City at the Exam Season Consulting program on March 1, his humorous and "trendy" stories "touched" the hearts of many young people.

That is why yesterday afternoon (March 2), the Organizing Committee of the Exam Consulting program continued to invite Dr. Nguyen Anh Dan to Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh) to share positive energy with young people. After a short break after a journey of nearly 200 km to the specialized high school in Dong Hoi City named after General Vo Nguyen Giap, Dr. Nguyen Anh Dan once again stirred up the atmosphere with humorous and very "trendy" stories.

Dr. Dan began with his own life story. Born into a poor family, he scored quite high on the university entrance exam, and was admitted to many universities, but in the end he chose the University of Education - Hue University. Given the circumstances at that time, choosing to study at this pedagogical school was very appropriate (because it was tuition-free).

Dr. Nguyen Anh Dan met with young people in Quang Binh on the afternoon of March 2.

Initially not very interested in the profession of holding chalk, but with his decision, Dr. Dan tried hard to study to change his fate. Graduating from the Faculty of Literature with an excellent degree, the young student was retained as a lecturer, then received a scholarship and did research at the Institute of Literature, Central China Normal University (China). In 2021, after completing his doctoral program, he returned to continue teaching and researching at the Faculty of Literature, University of Education - Hue University.

Retelling this story, Dr. Dan emphasized: no matter what the circumstances, you need to be confident, because confidence will be the key to opening the door to success, especially young people "must be responsible for their choices". So what can students do to confidently enter the exam? According to Dr. Dan, it is not standing in front of the mirror and saying "I am confident", but the first thing young people need to do is to review carefully, master the knowledge; study the reference questions carefully, do not learn by rote.

The message that Dr. Dan wants to convey is that young people must truly realize the importance of studying. University is not the only path to success, but it is the shortest, easiest, cheapest and most sustainable path.

Truly understand who you are, what you need, what you want, what you like... Young people must answer these questions themselves, from which they can make the right choice for the upcoming path. Accompanying the choice is confidence, to face all challenges. Dr. Dan repeatedly reminded young people to always think positively to have a positive lifestyle, from which they can be comfortable, optimistic and ready to solve all problems in life. The upcoming exam is a challenge to overcome...
