*On the morning of March 30, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with the Nghe An Fisheries Association to organize a seminar to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Fisheries industry (April 1, 1959 - April 1, 2024).
Attending the discussion were comrades: Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; former provincial leaders, leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and units.
* On the morning of March 30, the Vietnam - UK Friendship Association of Nghe An province held the 3rd Congress of Delegates, term 2024 - 2029 to review and evaluate the results of the 2nd term, term 2013 - 2024, set out directions, tasks and elect the executive committee for the new term 2024 - 2029.
The congress elected an Executive Committee of 23 members, including 1 president, 3 vice presidents, and 1 general secretary. The congress also determined specific directions and tasks, focusing on improving English learning among the people.
* On the morning of March 30, in Vinh city, the Liaison Committee of former volunteer soldiers of Front 379 of Nghe An province held a ceremony to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the founding of Front 379 (March 30, 1979 - March 30, 2024).
In 1979, Laos faced continued military pressure, threats of war, sabotage of economic plans, and incitement to divide the Vietnam-Laos alliance. In order to increase the scale of the Vietnamese volunteer army in Laos, on March 30, 1979, the Ministry of National Defense decided to establish the 379th Front Command under the 678th Corps Command.
At the ceremony, delegates and veterans had the opportunity to review the glorious tradition of Front 379.
* The provincial People's Committee has just agreed in principle to assign Ky Son district to develop a plan to urgently restore and embellish the ancient Xop Lot tower relic in My Ly commune in the context of the tower being at risk of collapsing.
On March 30, the leader of the People's Committee of Ky Son district said that after receiving the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, the locality assigned the Economic - Infrastructure Department to urgently develop a plan to urgently repair and renovate Thao Xop Lot (My Ly commune), for competent authorities to appraise and approve.
The ancient Xop Lot tower is believed to have been built in the 7th century. It is the largest and only remaining tower here. Previously, in My Ly commune, there was a complex of ancient towers, but over time, they all collapsed, and now there are no ruins left.
* The growing area has increased sharply, the yield is high, so even though the price of chili has decreased sharply, only half compared to the beginning of the season, farmers in Dien Phong commune (Dien Chau) are still excited to stick to the fields to harvest. Because for each hectare of chili, people still have an income of about 150 million VND.
* With an alcohol test result of 0.402 milligrams/1 liter of breath, a woman in Vinh city was fined 35 million VND.
On March 28, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh signed a Decision to sanction administrative violations in the field of road and railway traffic against Ms. PTHM (born in 1982), residing in Hung Binh ward, Vinh city.
The penalty decision clearly stated that Ms. PTHM committed an administrative violation: Driving a car on the road with a breath alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath.
