* On the morning of March 16, within the framework of the 2024 National Press Conference, a seminar on diversifying revenue sources for press agencies took place in Ho Chi Minh City. Attending the seminar were Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam and representatives of leaders of central and local press agencies.
At the forum, speakers shared information about the long-term direction for the journalism economy; efforts to diversify reader approaches; changes in the journalism market in the digital age; and at the same time, proposed a number of solutions for the journalism economy.
The speakers also offered a number of solutions for the press economy such as: Digital transformation of the press to comprehensively change the operations of the newsroom, creating a newsroom/press complex that converges multimedia, conveniently connecting with readers; digital transformation associated with the development of the digital economy, diversifying revenue sources, increasing the competitiveness of press agencies with cross-border platforms. Mechanisms for ordering press in policy communication to promote the press economy...
* After the 500kV North-South line circuit 1 was completed in 1994, and circuit 2 was completed in 2005, the 500kV line circuit 3 project is a key, urgent project, playing a particularly important role in national energy security, especially in the Northern region.
Nghe An province is currently implementing two projects on the 500kV line circuit 3; the relevant parties are urgently implementing and speeding up the project construction progress.
That is the 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu transmission line project with a total investment of nearly 9,821 billion VND. Of which, the transmission line passing through Nghe An province is about 82.33 km long, including 168 column foundation locations, located in the following areas: Nam Dan district (25.20km, 51 locations), Nghi Loc (14.30km, 29 locations), Dien Chau (22.60km, 47 locations), Yen Thanh (10.80km, 22 locations), and Quynh Luu (9.40km, 19 locations).
The second is the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line project with a total investment of more than 4,079 billion VND. Of which, the line running through Nghe An province is about 17.5km long, including 34 column foundation locations, located in Quynh Luu district (9.80km, 19 locations), Hoang Mai town (7.70km, 15 locations).
* On the morning of March 16, in Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An, the joint venture of investors and Phuc Thanh Hung Investment Joint Stock Company organized the closing ceremony of Hung Duc bridge - the longest river crossing bridge on the North - South expressway, part of the Dien Chau - Bai Vot section project.
Hung Duc Bridge has a total length of 4,015m and a construction cost of about 1,317 billion VND. This is also the longest river crossing bridge on the North-South Expressway.
* Going beyond the meaning of a campaign, the message "Pride of a strip of mountains and rivers" has been realized by Nghe An youth through meaningful works and projects to light up the love for the Fatherland in their hearts.
The painting exhibition in response to the Campaign “Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers” held at Truong Bon National Historical Site touched the emotions of many people attending. More than 100 paintings on display were the best works selected from more than 400 entries from grassroots units.
* The Department of Education and Training has just issued Decision No. 693/QD-SGD&DT on approving the enrollment quota and number of specialized classes for grade 10 admission to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, from the 2024-2025 school year.
Accordingly, next school year, the school has a maximum enrollment of 525 students. Of which, specialized classes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Literature, History, Geography, Japanese, Chinese, French and Russian each have a maximum of 35 students.
* The 18th National Pole Push Championship 2024 takes place from March 10 to 16 in Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province), with the participation of 200 athletes from 20 provinces and cities across the country.
Nghe An delegation participated in the tournament with 6 athletes. At the end of the tournament, Nghe An athletes won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Bronze Medals.
* Currently, Thanh Chi Commune Police (Thanh Chuong) has completed the procedures to hand over the car that was said to have gone missing during the night to Vinh City Police for further investigation.
Earlier, on the morning of March 9, Mr. Tran Duc Hau discovered that his car with license plate 37K - 111.54 parked in alley 64, Nguyen Si Sach street, Hung Phuc ward, Vinh city (200m from his house) had disappeared. Immediately after the incident, the family reported it to the authorities and posted a search notice.
