Coming to wish the monks and Khmer people a happy new year and give gifts at Mui Nai Pagoda and Xa Xia Pagoda, Colonel Nguyen Van Han wished the monks and Khmer people a warm, happy and peaceful traditional new year.
Colonel Nguyen Van Han said that under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Kien Giang province, with the joint efforts of the monks and Khmer people in Ha Tien city, the socio-economic situation in the province continued to develop. From the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, many households received financial support to build new houses, contributing to stabilizing their lives.

Colonel Nguyen Van Han hopes that the monks will continue to propagate the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws to the Khmer people; promote the strength of national solidarity; actively mobilize the Khmer people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, thereby joining hands to build Ha Tien City to become more and more developed and prosperous.
On this occasion, the provincial delegation presented gifts to 2 pagodas, 1 outstanding dignitary, and 4 Khmer families with meritorious services. The Kien Giang Provincial Police Party Committee presented gifts to 2 outstanding dignitaries and 4 families with meritorious services. The Ha Tien City Party Committee and leaders of My Duc and Phao Dai wards presented gifts to 2 pagodas.
