Accordingly, the project "Building a model for breeding hybrid goats and raising commercial hybrid goats suitable for the conditions of Binh Thuan province" has been trained by the Project Technician Training Center, organizing technical training, and field workshops for farmers in the two districts of Bac Binh and Tuy Phong to grasp goat raising suitable for arid areas. In Duc Linh district, the Center has also transferred technology, trained project technicians, organized technical training for farmers to build a straw mushroom growing model for a number of households, through the project "Building a model for growing cordyceps mushrooms and a model for growing straw mushrooms indoors for households to promote economic and social development of Binh Thuan province".

At the same time, this unit coordinated with localities to implement 5 basic topics: "Building a model of commercial eel farming in cement tanks in Ham Thuan Nam district"; "Building a model of linking the cultivation of oyster mushrooms, sprouts and the production of organic fertilizer from mushroom growing substrate in Duc Linh district"; "Building a model of growing bamboo shoots combined with water-saving irrigation in Huy Khiem commune, Tanh Linh district"; "Building a model of combining water-saving irrigation in Ham Tan district"; "Building a model of hydroponic vegetable growing on a household scale in Tuy Phong district".
In particular, the model of growing bamboo for bamboo shoots was implemented in Lang Gon 1 village, Tan Xuan commune, Ham Tan with a scale of 2,000 m2, combined with the use of water-saving irrigation methods to help reduce labor, save irrigation water, suitable for arid and water-deficient areas such as Ham Tan district. The tree produces bamboo shoots all year round, with high productivity and delicious quality. The processed products have an eye-catching yellow color that is favored by the market. Many local people were invited to visit the model to be able to apply it appropriately. Or the "Family hydroponic vegetable growing model in Ham Thuan Nam district" was implemented at Mr. Nguyen Van Kinh's household in Minh Thanh village, Ham Minh commune with a scale of 32 m2. Vegetables are grown in a greenhouse to prevent insects from entering, with 4 small-scale, easy-to-operate hydroponic systems. Each crop harvests more than 100 kg of various leafy vegetables (water spinach, sweet cabbage, green mustard, curly mustard, bok choy, spinach, lettuce, etc.), meeting the daily supply for families and partly for local consumption. The model was introduced to 40 local farmers to learn the techniques of building greenhouses, installing hydroponic systems, and how to care for and prevent pests and diseases of hydroponic vegetables. The expansion of the model is opening up a new direction for farmers in agricultural production in general, and converting crops towards high technology in particular, contributing to diversifying local products.
“In the transfer models, the Center coordinates with localities to promote the effectiveness of the model through training courses and field trips to disseminate to farmers about planting, care and harvesting techniques. Localities need to coordinate with different departments and branches, support information on consumption markets, product prices, create output conditions for farmers to invest in production, contributing to the development of household economy in building advanced new rural areas”, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thinh, Director of the Center for Information and Application of Scientific and Technological Advances shared.
