Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 3rd time - 2024: Many special activities

Writer Nguyen Nhat Anh is the first face announced to become the Reading Culture Ambassador of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2024-2025 term.

Ho Chi Minh City will organize the 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2024 from April 15 to May 1, 2024. The highlight will be from April 17 to April 22, 2024 with a series of special events, carefully invested in, taking place in the area of ​​Nguyen Van Binh Street, Cong Xa Paris Square (District 1) as well as simultaneously taking place in Thu Duc City and 21 districts in the city.

At Cong Xa Paris Square and Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, there will be hundreds of special programs serving the public such as: a series of talk shows on books, old books, audio books, skills to form reading habits, exchanges, book signing "Little Miko" with world-famous comic book author Ono Eriko, book launch of Ho Chi Minh City Reading Culture Ambassador for the 2023-2024 term, exchanges with 20 Reading Culture Ambassadors for 2 terms,... Especially the book signing session with writer Nguyen Nhat Anh.

Exhibitions, interactions, experiences... are useful and interesting, organized in a diverse and rich way. Booths, performances, and art exchanges will also take place throughout.

With the message "Every citizen is a Reading Culture Ambassador", in 2023, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City announced 10 Reading Culture Ambassadors of Ho Chi Minh City for the term 2023 - 2024. Welcoming the 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2024, continuing to promote the role of Reading Culture Ambassadors in the mission of spreading knowledge to the community, this year the Department of Information and Communications continues to announce 10 Reading Culture Ambassadors for the term 2024 - 2025.

They are representatives from many fields but share a love of books and a desire to spread the spirit of learning and reading, promote the value of books, thereby contributing to the development of a widespread reading culture among all classes of people.

The first of the 10 HCM City Reading Culture Ambassadors for the 2023-2024 term is writer Nguyen Nhat Anh. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee will also announce the establishment of the HCM City Reading Culture Ambassador Club.
