Many cultural, artistic and sports activities were organized with the participation of a large number of people. Attending the festival were comrade Ha Quang Trung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dien Bien Phu City; Lo Hai Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Long Luong 1 and 2 villages have 115 households, 621 people, 100% of the population are Mong ethnic people; there is a Protestant religious group with 18 households and 93 followers. Over the years, under the direction, leadership and guidance of the Party Committee, the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the people of the two villages have united and actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, helped each other develop the economy, reduce poverty sustainably, apply scientific advances in production, and improve living standards. The two villages' Front Committees regularly propagate and mobilize people to actively build cultural families, practice civilized cultural lifestyles in weddings, funerals, holidays and Tet, and preserve good traditional cultural identities...
To date, the two villages have no more poor or near-poor households. Promoting the tradition of gratitude, mutual support and love, in 2024, the people of the two villages supported the "For the Poor" Fund with 3.6 million VND; contributed 65 working days to help poor households build Great Solidarity houses, gave 15 gifts to poor, near-poor households, and policy families on the occasion of Lunar New Year and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory...
Secretary of the City Party Committee Ha Quang Trung praised and acknowledged the achievements of the two villages of Long Luong 1 and 2. At the same time, he hoped that the people of the two villages would actively compete in labor production, develop the economy to reduce poverty sustainably, maintain a clean and beautiful environment; strictly comply with regulations on security and order, prevent and combat crimes and social evils; religious groups and followers should practice in accordance with the law; build and promote national solidarity...
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and city presented gifts to the people of two villages; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented gifts to 5 prestigious people in the city.
