On the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the yellow apricot exhibition taking place at Tien Son Sports Palace, Hai Chau District, Da Nang is filled with unique yellow apricot trees.
In particular, there are "grandfather" apricot trees over 100 years old worth billions on display, making visitors amazed.
Hundreds of yellow apricot trees with many unique shapes are displayed at the exhibition.
As the owner of one of the most prominent yellow apricot trees in the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Van Di (from Quang Nam) said that he is displaying more than a dozen apricot trees. Among them, there is an ancient apricot tree that is displayed for both sale and rent if customers do not want to buy it.
This apricot tree belongs to the 5-petal yellow apricot variety Loc Yen (Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province).
This yellow apricot tree is about 5m high, has a canopy of nearly 4m, is in the flowering stage and is priced by Mr. Di at over 2 billion VND. This tree is rented for 100-150 million VND each Lunar New Year.
The 2nd Golden Apricot and Ornamental Plants Exhibition 2024 is held on the sidewalks of 3 streets adjacent to Tien Son Sports Palace including: Nai Nam 2 Street, Nai Nam 3 Street and Phan Dang Luu Street (in Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District).
The yellow apricot exhibition will take place until February 6, 2024 (December 27 of the lunar calendar).
