Russia takes control of more villages in Donetsk, shells airport
Sputnik News on December 23 quoted an announcement from the Russian Ministry of Defense saying that in the past 24 hours, many airports and UAV facilities on Ukrainian territory had been attacked.

Germany provides tanks, air defense systems to Ukraine
Reuters quoted information from the German government on December 23 saying that Berlin had just transferred to Ukraine 15 Leopard 1A5 tanks, 1 short-range and 1 medium-range air defense system of the IRIS-T system, 2 launchers and other military equipment.
