Improving the quality of medical human resources at the grassroots level

In order to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, in recent times, the provincial health sector has always focused on the quality of human resources, especially medical human resources at the grassroots level. At the same time, increasing the quality of human resources for localities, the number of medical staff at the grassroots level has increased, the quality has been improved to partly meet the health care needs of the people.

Training to improve human resources

Current reality shows that most of the human resources in medical facilities in the province are still lacking in quantity and quality, especially high-quality human resources. In the general context, the provincial health sector also recorded the situation of cadres and civil servants quitting and changing jobs, but the number is not large. Up to now, the grassroots health system in the province has about 2,565 medical staff including general practitioners, specialists and preventive doctors, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, technicians and other medical staff. Since then, medical examination and treatment facilities in the province have maintained and improved the quality of existing specialized medical examination and treatment services while developing, supplementing and expanding the scope of medical examination and treatment services. Implementing the application of diagnostic and treatment guidelines and treatment regimens issued by the Ministry of Health. Along with improving infrastructure, the province's health sector has also focused on developing human resources by promoting specialized training and receiving technology transfer from higher-level hospitals. The Resolution of the 14th Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress set a target of 9 doctors and 31 hospital beds per 10,000 people by 2025, while maintaining 100% of communes, wards and towns meeting national health standards.

Step by step meeting people's needs for medical examination and treatment

Arrange and organize the team of doctors working at grassroots health facilities flexibly and reasonably in the direction of mobilizing and rotating medical examination and treatment between medical centers, regional polyclinics and medical stations to ensure the maximum use of doctors' time and capacity, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment for the people.
