Nam Dinh is ready to provide conditions to serve production and business.
On July 4, a delegation of Japanese parliamentarians and businesses had a working session to explore cooperation and investment promotion opportunities in Nam Dinh province.
At the meeting, Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Dinh Nghi briefly introduced the highlights of the investment environment in the province: The locality is located in the center of the Southern Red River Delta, with the ability to quickly and widely connect to many localities in the region. Abundant human resources with a population of nearly 2 million people, young labor accounts for 60% of the population, of which skilled and highly qualified workers account for a large proportion.
In particular, for nearly 30 consecutive years, the province has been in the leading group of the country in education and training. Nam Dinh has a rich cultural tradition, with many tangible and intangible heritages recognized by Vietnam and UNESCO.

The province has prepared infrastructure conditions, especially many industrial parks are ready to be put into operation to serve production. The province's transport infrastructure system is gradually completing the highway network, conveniently connecting with key national economic areas such as Hanoi and Hai Phong, creating many conveniences for people to travel and businesses to transport goods.
Along with that, Nam Dinh has strongly promoted administrative reform, cut down and simplified administrative procedures to facilitate people and businesses. The province's economy grows by 10%-12% annually, industry has initially developed, so the province is promoting calling for foreign enterprises, including Japanese enterprises, to invest in developing production and business in Nam Dinh.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Dinh Nghi expressed his hope that the Congressmen, members of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance and Japanese enterprises in the working delegation would pay attention to supporting the promotion and introduction so that more and more Japanese enterprises would know more about the investment environment in Nam Dinh, thereby deciding to promote and invest in developing production and business, especially high-tech enterprises.

At the same time, they proposed that the province support the early implementation of investment in a Japanese language training center and a nursing home in Nam Dinh province. The delegation pledged to increase the introduction, promotion and connection so that more and more Japanese enterprises can approach and decide to invest in Nam Dinh.
After the working session, the delegation of Japanese parliamentarians and businesses conducted a field survey at My Thuan Industrial Park and Nam Dinh Nursing University.
